They were idiots for not sending admirals and their new weapons after the Shichibukai right off the bat. Why send a fleet after each of them with just fodder? Crocodile alone was enough to decimate the fleet sent after Buggy.

Man, I really don't know WTF Oda is doing recently. The writing has been quite poor, compared to the past.
The bounties chapter was the only one which truly excited me in many months.

How TF are we supposed to feel any form of threat or danger or hype from the marines/govt, who are supposedly the final boss (maybe three way along with BB) of the series, when we have:
- all Shichibukai so far escaping with no consequences
- Sabo and a bunch of clowns out-maneuvering the admirals, CP0, Kong etc
- Gorosei's sudden retardation and abysmal incompetence
- Greenbull's reaction to Shanks
- admiral portrayal in film red


Adding to this, Coby (the only dude apart from admirals still having any form of hype/buildup) getting an L in current chapter too?

Man, I hope Imu is really worth it.
Cause his underlings' credibility and hype is in the damn gutter.

Coby had 0 chance against Boa Hancock. People massively underestimate her simply because she was a woman and had a frozen 80M bounty. The reality is that:

• She is a martial artist
• She has an incredibly powerful DF
• She has COC
• She didn’t get any damage in Marineford
• She fought both sides in Marineford like Crocodile
• She could 1-shot Pacifista with a simple melee kick
• Vice-Admiral Momonga had to stab himself to save him from her DF power as Haki was not sufficient

She should be stronger than Jinbe who is YC level so my guess is that she is at least YC1 level or stronger.

Hancock is a character whose intro shows her playing around with a Vice-Admiral and his subordinates. I like Koby, but thinking he stood a chance when he's still relatively inexperienced was a bit of a tall order.

Been thinking for a while that we'll get a short (like Zou-length at most) arc at Sphinx to meet up with Marco, visit Ace's grave and I suppose Weevil might be the villain of the arc if there is one. Pack that bozo up please. Need a lil palate cleanser before the next big arc. Hopefully these hints do indicate that!

I don't see Hancock working with anyone who isn't a part of the SHGF. She has plenty of followers anyway, maybe she could join them.

The Blackbeard part is probably about his reaction to the news (Luffy's rise, Cross Guild etc) and his future plans maybe?

That said, she is in a pretty awkward position. Her island's natural defenses are exceptional but on the other hand they also prevent her from getting support from potential allies (say, the SHGF). There's also the danger of leaving her island unprotected.

This is why, if anything, I think she'll join the revolutionary army. The RA will add to the island's defenses while they will benefit from her intelligence, both as a former Shichibukai and a former slave.
