Since Gorosei is the highest authority. Vegapunk has zero chance. But the ancient weapon will save them.
It will also show how strong their technology was, even with an 800 yo robot, very used and at the last breath.

I guess this means there’s a big surprise in the chapter? It could literally be hinting Kizaru or Saturn or Vegapunk’s expression. Thinking it could be Vegapunk’s reaction to Saturn’s arrival.

thats exactly right.. thats was the entire pourpose, .. like hell they wont install safe mechanics.. for in the worst case.. they l always be in control of them...

however there r things..not even they or vega could predict.. they never expect.. Kuma to have a will of his own after the brainwash, tough that could be cause Vega secretly preserve his memorys and didnt entirely brainwaish it..

and 2 ) Not even Vega expected one of his own creations.. that had no attached mechanism for control by WG side.. would simple decide by his own . it want to be a tenryubito.. the freewill he gave to his satellites, backfire him.

Haha I like how you are trying to connect the dots. My first thought was how he was holding his hands (like Saturn always does). But then you have to like read into how redon searches for the prompts for the gif. Is it just "shocked man" or does he really search for "James Earl Jones shocked". Hard to tell but it feels like he doesn't put THAT much of thoughts into his search words.

We barely even got a backstory on Kaido. I'd be amazed if this turns out to be true. Not going to hold my breath. More likely scenario is a vague silhouette appears with an "800 years ago" for a single panel and that counts as a fleshed out backstory for leakers (since they tend to overhype stuff).
