To me no matter how good the chapter would be I will read spoilers. This way I can feel the chapter 4x times.
First time by discovering hints/ vogue info. Second time by reading summary.
3rd time by immersing it with raws.
And 4th time with full translation and hd images.

The Poneglyphs are really just stones with messages that are in another language. It's not even like the information is encrypted. Vegapunk has interacted with a lot of people and probably many we didn't know. He even knew Clover well. It's not that much of a reach to think that the guy could study or even find a way to read them given his previous connections. He probably wouldn't be up front about it if he knew how to read them, as he's a government affiliated person. Vegapunk has shown himself to be more than just a scientist. For instance, he's also a medical doctor, engineer, programmer, and adventurer in his previous life. I honestly just assume he knows how to read Poneglyphs at this point because even Robin managed to learn it as a young child with the right books.

The WG forbids any knowledge about the Void Century, and destroy any recording about the past

But the scholars from Ohara collected thousands of books around the world, which revealed information about the Void Century, including how to read the language in the Poneglyphs

The WG tried to destroy Ohara, but the scholars threw the books into a lake, which were carried by Giant to Elbaf, and Vegapunk read them all

The scholars from Ohara are also shown copying the Poneglyph in Ohara, which contained information about the Ancient Kingdom and its name, and presumably that print that was also preserved along with the books

Vegapunk also most likely came across one or another Poneglyph when he traveled around the around, possibly in Elbaf too

what hole man? Vegapunk is one of the characters that makes the most sense to know something about. The entire character is guided by this mystic about knowledge. The plot hole argument is so trivialized nowadays that people start to attribute rules of what they believe makes logical sense to fill in stories and forget that are just... stories, fiction, not everything needs to make that much sense and never will because if you try hard, you will always find what you say is "a hole"

Vegapunk finding the secret or lore behind DF and co, I understand.
But him making more progress or better impact than people spending their whole life (Ohara people) about void century. It makes me think that Ohara people and Robin are suddenly useless.
If, of course, Vegapunk reveals secrets about Void Century.
But if on the other hand, he reveals secrets of the worldw about Gorosei, DF, Imu, etc. I am ok.
