Yeah the first hint it's probably more to do with Imu abilities.

Second one might be perhaps a tale about him since Cobra mentioned that name sounded familiar. Giants probably have some record of him besides the mural.

My guess on the first hint: Imu spawning/ growing wings out of Gunkos body
My guess on the second:
Nika Luffy needs to save his crew from Imu already

Okay. So the books--those are grimoires. A grimoire is going to pop up. Maybe they're using legit magic, or its part of the Devil Fruit package.
The wings--that must be what Imu is about to manifest. He already grew Gunko's hair out. Probably going to get the wings going.
Finally, the worstgen one. I think that's Imu's mythical Zoan, since its shaping looks like what we saw before. It'd be wild if as part of the Devil Fruit package, it summons little Imps, in the same way Perona summons Ghosts.

But that last one is really weird. Heck, you can see that line reaching over to the devil, which makes it seem like one of the last shots of the chapter is going to be Luffy's hand reaching over or coming into frame.

A shotgun is not a weapon which points to van augur though. Van augur is a sniper, what's he gonna do with a shotgun? Franky is the only strawhat that could have something similar to a shotgun. He does have other guns at least.

I think it about some 1 atk marijoa, n they are ready they gun.

Imu seems really "traditional" in the sense that he doesn't seemed like a One Piece exclusive myth like Luffy is.
Kuroi, where do you land on that? Do you think Imu will be a One Piece exclusive thing like the Sea Devil, or something more tied to the Goetia, or any of the named demons of our mythology? Right now, given iconography, it feels like Imu leans to the Goetia

And here I am caught between simply believing you are right on the call and hoping that the Straw Hats currently present at Imu’s site get their S*** together and work out a way to push back the God’s Knights or at least hold their ground for a while without the help of Monster Trio, Loki and whoever else is crazy/gutsy enough to follow them into battle.

What can they (Jibei, Brook, Usopp, Nami, Robin + Frankey) do?! They struggled against 2 humans with immortality, so what can they do against an army of devil giants with immortality?!
I really want to see Loki in action. Afterall, He's the legitimate (half) king of Elbaf. Given his twisted character, he may not decide to protect his people (and he has reason. They treated him badly) but he surely would love to fight and taste his strength as a proud giant. Also, he has a grudge against Gunko

Zoro and Sanji are better than the other SHs. Plus there much stronger than the others sans Luffy especially Usopp
