While Blackbeard only set out when he got the Yami DF.

Fully agree, but it does make Xebec's choice of hiding his true last name weird. An unnecessary revelation by Oda, imho.

Garling killing a weakened Xebec is cowardly, but honestly the dude deserved it. He found the Davy clan, after probably having rizzed his way to the information, and set the whole event in motion. This is his victory. I like it!

Hmm, I've been saying everything I find on Rocks seems to point towards him being a sum of parts, two halves and maybe even more, so I wonder if Garling splits him in half/pieces and this is the setup for him to be connected to more than one character.

I also believe Garling might have a plot to overthrow Imu or some shit, so him "taking care" of Rocks and actually using him or maybe even working together with him could also be interesting.

Well said... to be honest.. he wasnt the One.. many things need to be avaiable and you capable to get them to beat imu.. starting by ancient weapons.. and depend the age you born that might not be possible.. ( Roger - Shiraoshi issue ) to make an example..not to mention Pluton.. and the need of the Galley giants to use it...

Also.i m.pretty sure part.of the plan was Harald being an ally and he himself use the Nika fruit..but thats my theory.

They can't go back to the holyland yet. Oda has to show us the flashback of Harald and Loki. He has to explain what led to that. And also possibly show us the fight and how did Harald get defeated and the the devil fruit stolen. So many things that just can't be put in one chapter. Plus he has to show us Hajrundin's reaction and a short discussion between him and his brother before moving on to something else like the holy land. I don't see that happening
