In fear of being pereceived as cruel, I hope this is permament damage to someone we actually care. I mean we're talking about Imu here (I assume) and there should be consequences. One Piece operates on training wheels. Even the Gorosei in the last arc were a huge let down.

saturn was introduced with the ability to instantly explode peoples' heads with a glance. then chooses not to do so to any named character that could be damaged by it. then in eblaf the holy knights just... tie up the weaker strawhats. tied up, like they weren't just introduced as some of the most absolutely brutal, casually-murderous shitheads the series has ever had.

it's... kind of glaring, just how much of a weakness the demographic is. imagine of Part 9 of JoJo had to be in shonen jump instead of a seinen mag lol. increasingly worried this is going to look like the 4th ninja war arc

The awnser will be the same - Haki - i think that the power of influence of a Devil Fruit is relatively to the power of the King Hakis of that user - so I guess Imu will be just this monster of coc and will nullify everything. I don't think that B.B will be ready for this to

Moreover, any time an antagonist with instant healing abilities gets introduced, my expectations dimnish. I just know they will be the punching bag of the arc without lasting repercussions. I still stand by my opinion that the HK are way too comfortable with their restorative abilities and Devil Fruits and hence suck at fighting a real foe. It's probably Odas way of illustrating a privileged upbringing, even their fighters. Compared to pirates who fight daily for their lives, they just pale. Yet it doesn't mean it's not disappointing seeing them dangling like fruits from a tree.

I don't think he will humiliate Shamrock, a Shanks look-alike, this much, right?

it was..expected,,, last chapter Sanji's mentioned HOW easy the whole ordeal was... and in manga, when a powerful char have little to no time left, specially being someone important as Imu's that little time it is goin to be ABSOLUTLY BADASS and Favorable on his favor,, like beating everybody but his time running out before he could finish them off,,thus letting them live,, or scape.

Well I'm quite sure he have something to tell or teach Luffy since Gaban asked Luffy to meet him before Strawhats would leave Elbaf. But yeah, others need more training than Luffy do. It's hard to tell if it will happen but I still hope that Luffy and Loki push Imu to his limit somehow and instead of Strawhats having to escape HE would have to go back to figure out something else.

Btw, I'm refreshing anime and I realised that Elbaf is similar to Skypiea arc so mayby it will have similar ending. But only diffrence would be that Imu wasn't defeated and only retreated because of "time limit".

Yeah, that was quite obvious. Holy Knights turned out to be crap compared to Zoro and Sanji but *sigh* it always have to be something when things are going too smoothly.
