What do you mean? Of course there is a point to the other fights, especially Sanji's. For one thing, it is what the audience wants, this whole arc is just Luffy and Loki kicking ass while Zoro and Sanji wooped their opponents super fast so now they need a real fight to satisfy the legions of readers. But you're probably right, Imu will not be defeated here, it isn't his time but he will still be this arc's end boss fight so again, before that is concluded, Zoro and Sanji need to conclude theirs.

One thing is for sure... HE WONT BE A PUNCHING BaG Again... i think he already got enought.. reliying too much on his regen, like for become a puzzle and be Humillated again.. and he was an inch away to die probably if .. his steel heart was destroyed... so he wont play that way again... ill say

1) Vines strongs to stop 100% of Zoro Slices

2) Super streghnt

3) Super Speed

4) Maybe plants controls, and use the enviroment to his favor.

5) Crazy strong COA .. also applied to Vines of course...

I'm sure Oda will have the fights play out, since it means more cool panels, but yes, given what the aforementioned Elbaf mural showed, it's basically stalling before he has to end it and shift Imu somewhere else, so that Luffy can properly build up his arsenal and alliances from there.

Who said that there have to be lots of "gore" for someone to be killed? Sure, in case of Holy Knights unbelievable amount of damage is needed to actually kill them but let's follow Haralds case. There was a lot of blood shown around remnants of his body that Loki covered with his cloak but it wasn't THAT explicit. Once one of our unwanted guests will be killed I'm sure Oda will follow the same example: show something that clearly show they are dead BUT still dosen't look super gruesome. Just indicate that it's gruesome. Btw, I think we kinda get there with "gore" stuff when Saturn died. That was really terrifying way to die. Not a lot of blood and stuff but fact that he was slowly turned into dust while writhing in agony was pretty "gore" in my opinion.

Before their introduction (and the Shanks reveal) the CDs were all just a bunch of weaklings who were somehow in charge of the world with former CDs Doffy and Corazon being the exception.

ill be honest with ya.. i cant feel simpathy from Imu towards those fishbowl heads.. i think he have to deal with them.. cause in good or bad way they are part of Mariejois and they doesnt seem to hinder their plans... but im.100% he wont care a dick if they die neither.. other than being a blow to Mariejois status himself...

If he could fully get rid of Luffy, Loki, BB, Shiraoshi... everething he consider pests...Fishbowls cds wont be so much of a trouble if they die.. and just Gorosei + His Gks Along Him remains, oh that include all of the Marines and Admirals too..

That is why I said "especially Sanji's" because I mean look Sommers is just... idk.. not that interesting. Doesn't seem awesome like for example, King and then there is the case of how weak he was prior to his sensu bean. I still want to see that fight because I love watching Zoro kicking ass and also mostly because I want to see Sommer get fucked up again. But Sanji's fight? Oh dude has to fight a logia that isn't even really a logia. Will CoA work vs Zaza since it, itself is not a df user but is water itself conjured up by a df? Now, THAT is going to be interesting and I would love for Sanji to not get help. No Jinbe. He has to figure this out on his own imo.
