Well it's hard to campaign against a Work i've never read,so i just won't attempt to in the first place. Instead i'm giving the +'s Points for One Punch Man.

  1. It has high Enjoyment Value.
  2. It's easy to read.
  3. It is one of the funniest Manga's i've read,so much Stuff that is just straight over the top, hard to dislike.
  4. It may have an inconsistent Release Schedule but it makes up for that with an extraordinary amount of pages and Content, fairly recently we got a Chapter with over 140 Pages to make up for a Month without any Chapter.
  5. The Characters are loveable and fun,if you're looking for a Manga that doesn't seem to give much thought about complex writing and very deep and fleshed out characters and are basically just looking for an easy and fun read packed with Action Sequences and hilarious Gags then OPM it is.
  6. It has some of the best Art i've ever seen in a Manga,it does a great job with it's dynamic action sequences and Displays of Supernatural Powers.
  7. For those among you that have only seen the Anime and it's OVAs i can only recommend trying the Manga out,the Characters get an equal amount of Screentime and focus and the Atmosphere and Tone it is going for is on Point in my Opinion.

It's a bit hard for me to get across why i like or enjoy reading something actually so i just named why and what i like about it.
Personally i probably think its one of my favourite Mangas, mostly because it doesn't take itself or rather it's plot seriously. In its Serious Moments it makes you think that there are real consequences and weight to the various exchanges of the Heros and for some of them there actually are some but in the end you can almost always count on the MC to seal the deal. The Author doesn't mind making the MC Saitama the most broken Character from the get go aka Chapter 1,and he doesn't cut down on that. Have no Fear for Saitama is here is the Leading Image of OPM,things get tough but they'll always end well for the Heros.
Regardless there are still serious Threats in the World(For everyone but the MC of course.) It got a nice balance between Comedy and Action, and if you're a fan of that then this is the Manga for you.
Here is it's Synopsis:
After rigorously training for three years, the ordinary Saitama has gained immense strength which allows him to take out anyone and anything with just one punch. He decides to put his new skill to good use by becoming a hero. However, he quickly becomes bored with easily defeating monsters, and wants someone to give him a challenge to bring back the spark of being a hero.

Upon bearing witness to Saitama's amazing power, Genos, a cyborg, is determined to become Saitama's apprentice. During this time, Saitama realizes he is neither getting the recognition that he deserves nor known by the people due to him not being a part of the Hero Association. Wanting to boost his reputation, Saitama decides to have Genos register with him, in exchange for taking him in as a pupil. Together, the two begin working their way up toward becoming true heroes, hoping to find strong enemies and earn respect in the process.

24 hours without campaigning, what have I done! :notlikethis

Ok guys, I know how famous OPM is and that its a likable show, but please let me explain what is To Your Eternity about and why I think it deserves attention. It will be difficult to keep this spoiler-free, but I'll do my best. :p

Fumetsu no Anata e is an on-going manga series by Yoshitoki Oima. This is the author of Koe no Katachi, the critically acclaimed drama series, but this new work makes a turn of direction and presents itself with a fantasy set-up.

This manga tells the story of... "It". A mysterious immortal being that has the peculiar ability of shapeshifting into anything that makes an "stimulus" on it. That is from something simple like a rock... to a living being.
After many years it finally meets a boy in a desolate cold plain. Its at that point when "It" starts its journey through eternity, growing up and learning as history progresses, getting to know the world and its cruel, yet beautiful nature.

This story is not your typical shonen. The Main Character is not human and has to face the passing of time, death after death... It will meet lots of amazing people and say goodbye to many others.
But if Koe no Katachi touched themes like psycology and interpersonal relations, this manga touches a wider broad of topics, from the concept of family or love... to the meaning of life itself

It might not be flashy like OPM's, but the art style is amazing too, it hits the mark with its sober yet delicate drawing. Sadly I cannot post much manga pics from it or you guys might get spoiled easily, but I'll try find some that dont reveal key moments of the series.

The reason for why I love this manga so much is its deep unusual story, that set up of neverending tale following a magnificent Main Character as it learns from humanity... it surprised me how well written it is, from the very beggining to its current arc.

If you guys have the time I would request of you, please check just the first chapter. It alone was enough for me to fall in love with the series and binge read it in one go.
Its already a great manga, it just needs to be given a chance, so I hope it can get the recognision it deserves in this community. :amuse

Please Vote for Fumetsu no Anata e! :vbunny

I'll vote for Fumetsu no Anata e. If it weren't for Lambu's nomination in the previous war, Koe no Katachi, I might not have started Fumetsu. So I'll pay it back with votes : )

About One Punch Man...

I felt like in my first and previous post i didn't do anything more but sum up what kind of a Manga One Punch Man is,that is probably not enough for most to consider reading it.

I personally love reading the Manga because of how over the top and just plain ridiculous it can be,it is classified as a Seinen but while reading it you'd think you're reading a Straight Battle Shonen with a mix of a Jump Comedy.
The MC,Saitama is the best Example for how over the top and yet serious OPM can be at once.
He is Unbelievably Powerful,to the extent where he beats all his Opponents with 1 Punch no matter the Size or Power of his Enemy he'll always beat them and win.
He achieved his unbelievable Power through a rather normal Training Schedule that pretty much anybody could pull off:
100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, 100 squats, and 10km of running every day. After three years he had lost all of his hair, but become so powerful that he could defeat any opponent with a single punch.

That Power however comes with a severe downside to Saitama, severe for him as a Human being with Feelings,Thoughts and Emotions.
Having reached the Top of the Power Chain and being able to win all his fights with 1 Punch,Saitama had realized that being the strongest gives him a sense of unease and loneliness. He once said that being the Strongest is pretty boring and it is quite lonely once you've reached the Top,a Situation and Feeling that is reminiscent of when someone achieved something they've dreamed of for a long time and realize they don't know where to go anymore or what keeps them going from now on. People in that situation describe it as feeling Empty or lonely at first, they need new fuel to keep them going.:teach
It is basically a form of discharge Depression, you get a sense of comfort and happiness and suddenly it hits you! You need something new to excite you and find something to keep your Job/Hobbies "alive" basically. Saitama deals with that by trying to find new things that he can enjoy in his Life without being super Powerful as a requesite for it.

He for example started getting more invested with Games or "Group Activities" so to say. He plays with and against King,a ridiculously overhyped and actually weak Character in the Series that miraculously only excels at Gaming. He manages to motivate and challenge Saitama to try new Games/Modes out and always beats him,he basically is just like Saitama just with Video Games. He always wins, and even can play a Game that requires both hands with just 1 or 2 Fingers.:XD

It is the one aspect of One Punch Man that makes it go through as a Seinen,Depression is a heavy topic for many People it is hard to get around it/work it out.
Some People never manage to get rid of it and are forced to take Medicine and Therapies to handle it. :(
While One Punch Man has this as a Serious Side to it,it also has a very lighthearted Aspect to it.:) Which is it's Comedy,no matter what Life throws at you you can always recover with a good laugh i tend to say .:D
Many of the things it does and deals with get way too overexaggerated and end up getting dealt with by either Saitama/The One Punch Man or some of the really Powerful Heroes that appear in the Series such as Tatsumaki,Metal Bat,Atomic Samurai or Flashy Flash to which i'll get in another Post soon.

Thanks for your Patience and Attention.:verily

About One Punch Man's Characters...

Something that almost all the Characters in OPM have in common is that no matter if they're actually Powerful or not they always have Presence and a certain "Air" around them,be it during their Introductions or just when they come on Panel casually during a Dialogue-Sequence or an Action one.

I picked 4 Characters for today,to show the different types of Characters in OPM.
1.King

King is the Type of Character that has a lots of HYPE but isn't anything like the rumors surrounding him,he is a S-Class Hero(The Highest Grade of Hero's!)
And among the Top 10 Heros in that Group to boot. The Downside or Catch to his Character is that he isn't actually Strong nor posseses any Supernatural Powers unlike most Heros in his Class. He happened to be at Emergency Sites and witnessed other Heros(The MC Saitama for example) doing the work and later got the credit for it as they either died or left the scene,or in Saitama's case just let him take the Credit for dealing with a Dangerous Threat. His menacing Appearance makes you buy into the Fact that he actually might have a Secret to him but during his Panel-Time he actually proves that he is just a Normal Person that enjoys playing Video Games and Reading Shojo-Manga. His Assistants don't do him any favor by making him out to be one of the most dedicated Heros out there, earning King respect even from other S-Class Heros who only heard of his Powers/Title through hearsay.

2.Tatsumaki

Tatsumaki is an example of a Character that has HYPE,doesn't look all that Powerful but is fairly Respected within her World/Class of Heros.
She is the S-Class Rank 2 Hero which makes her only second to the most Powerful Hero/Person in the Series(At least as we are lead to believe so far) she posseses Psychic Powers and can manipulate all sorts of matter and forms with those. She is quite arrogant and overly confident in her Powers, that might come with her Status and Position. On the other side she has a somewhat caring and protective Side to her regarding her Sister Fubuki, she rarely shows it but she loves her Sister and wants to protect her from all sorts of Evil to a point where her younger Sister has developed an inferiority complex when it comes to her Older Sister. Tatsumaki also has issues acknowledging anybody elses Efforts or Skills no matter what Rank or Powers they have,if they're ranked below her then that is what they are to her basically. Yet she doesn't mind working together to achieve their goals of slaying their Threats and preserve Peace for mankind.

3.Mumen Rider

Mumen Rider is actually one of my favorite Characters, despite the Fact that he doesn't possess any Supernatural Powers and isn't considered as someone outstanding in OPMs World but i like his Character for what he represents.
He is the C-Class Rank 1 Hero(C-Class Heros can pretty much be considered as your Normal Everyday kind of Person you meet on the Street, pretty much anybody could defeat them in OPMs World) he rides his Bike to all sorts of Emergency Sites and despite the fact that he himself knows that he won't be able to do anything but evacuate People or buy very little Time against serious Threats he goes there anyway risking his Life. He stood up to various Opponents that got defeated by the MC Saitama or taken on by other Heros only to get a beating back but to protect the People he has sworn to protect and to give them Hope. He isn't able to do much if anything against any Opponent other than throw his Bike at them but in my Opinion he is more of a Hero than anybody else in the Series because he shows his dedication and Willpower and knows what he is actually fighting for. Whereas Higher Ranked Heros take their Jobs as nothing more than that.A Job to earn Money,Status and Fame. Whereas Mumen sees it as a Responsebility to give the People Hope and a sense of comfortability.

4.Genos

Genos is the type of Character that has HYPE,Powers and Skill but ends up being dealt with easily or quickly.
He is a S-Class Rank 14 Hero and a Cyborg with all sorts of Modifications and Weapons,he posseses Speed,Reflexes and Impressive Raw Power as well yet he ALWAYS ends up getting beaten and has to be saved by Saitama whom he recognizes as his Master.
Although "Always" might be pushing it,Genos gets beaten if he takes on a Serious Threat,if he faces a lower breed of Monster/Enemy then he can manage to win but he usually struggles regardless against them.
He has the Mindset of a Hero and the Ability for the Job but he gets displayed in a way that makes you question his choice of Work, though he gets the feeling of "Don't give up!" or "I'll do whatever it takes!" across everytime he fights. He always makes sure there are no People close by as well before he lets loose.
However he is also quick to lose hope,as when a Meteor was about to hit the City and he failed to destroy it and without considering Saitama in(Who ended up destroying the Meteor) he outright admitted that they won't make it and the People will be exterminated by the Impact.

What I was trying to get across here is that despite them all having different Personalities, the Same occupation and Work Environment they do all have a certain Touch to their Characters that make them appear as "Human",as relatable People in tough Situations. Their struggles and our normal Everyday Struggles are as different as Heaven and Earth but the sense of how severe and hard fought they are they're essentially the same.

Thank you for your Attention and Patience.:verily

As the one who nominated OPM last year. It's simply impossible not to vote for one of the most fun mangas out there.
