Theory Phantom Troupe = Jesus + Apostles

This is just an interesting thing I thought of. I never noticed it before, and wonder if anyone else has.

I'm writing a story, and in it, I am presenting the antagonists as being a sort of inverse of Jesus and his twelve apostles. The leader of the group would be a kind of antiChrist parallel, and the other twelve members of the group would represent his apostles, with one of those members being a double agent who in the end sides with the protagonists, thus making him the Judas Iscariot.

Writing all this down, I realized I was basically coming up with the Phantom Troupe.

I just wonder if anyone else saw or thought of the parallels there.

Well, considering how Chrollo has this cross-like symbol on his forehead, a trench coat with St. Peter's cross at the back, and that his last name is Lucilfer, of all things, yeah, I saw it. Though a lot of mangas seem to love these kinds of parallels so I brushed it off as another one of those tropes Japan eats up.

You might as well check out the Satanic Commandments for that story you're working on. Though they're pretty much just common sense bar a few ones.

Spiders have 6 to 8 maybe its possible there's 1 that has 12 legs.

Yes they do have similarities making Hisoka the judas, the reason why I think there's more to Ryodan in terms of Purpose and their long term goals. Which makes the writer a clever fiend indeed.

Chrollo opposed to Got, it's maybe because once he had believed in Got.
E.g. A couple, they fell in love, than one day they broke off and hated eachother.
