re: Fil reads- I read noli and el fili in comic book form I'm all for the advancement of Filipino arts, but I just think that they should stop using words that arn't being used in day to day life anymore... I mean, what's the point of writing a really hard and archaic novel if the only one who can actually read and understand it is you?

mas mahirap para sa amin mga hindi tagalog oi, mas marami ngang malalim na ilonggo words na hindi ko pa rin alam ang meaning, yung mga ginagamit nila sa local radio at TV. marami akong ginamit na ilonggo words noon na hindi ko alam mali pala ang meaning
