I had a problem with PC a while ago:

Spoiler

1. OS cannot be loaded
2. Thought it might just be a loose IDE cable so removed it then plugged it back
3. Heard *toooooot* after booting
4. Figured it to be video card so removed it then plugged it back
5. Heard *tooooot*
6. Removed video card again only to discover a blown out capacitor (fuck )
7. Tried the on board video card but the stupid thing forgot that it's a video card after 2 years of dormancy
8. Stole the video card of my little sister's PC (she doesn't use it except for watching her cartoons)
9. Monitor finally went up but all my HDD's weren't being detected by my PC
10. Switched IDE cables from the DVD ROMS
11. Figured it was the DAMN CABLES which lead to the untimely demise of my video card and will eventually lead to the disgruntled look of my sister this weekend!!!!!

Moral Lesson: KUMAIN NG GULAY!!!!

I wanna change PC's This month, I've been spending at least a day every week trying to fix something on this PC (be it that stupid imgKulot, lotsa Spywares, Trojans and now the hardware). And now I just figured that my PC can't play a video with a 1280x720 resolution!

Darn! I never thought I'd say this but I wish it was Christmas already.

re:computer- PC Express has a few "surplus" items that are quite goot atm... by surplus I mean "Theyusedtobeleet,butsincemanufacturerskeeponmakingnewmodelssofast,they'renolongerasleetascomparedtothenewones,butthey'restillprettygood!"...phewh... that was a mouthfull...

whu?? you cant play 720p?? but my other pc is pentium 3 and has an EIGHT MB videocard and I sometimes watch 720p h.264 there, even with a 17'' CRT monitor. what you're lacking most likely are the necessary codecs, get CCCP

what I have is the klite codec. maybe I'll try CCCP again this time. I really want to watch that jdrama.

yeah dude just uninstall all your codecs first and then install CCCP so there'll be no conflicts. klite is actually good but its too bloated that its risky
