Dude... I feel, I like you hehehe Gurren is the greatest.

There are three things which making me someone who could be called otaku although no one call me like that, anyway: 1- Nishino Tsukasa (Ichigo 100%); 2 – One Piece; 3 – Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

Since yoniekai are trying to encourage people to watch this series, I will give some assistance ^^.

If Gurren Lagann isn’t the best anime, certainly it’s one of the bests. Gurren Lagann is overrated? Yes, but there isn’t another anime that fulfill ourselves with such enthusiasm and liveliness. The plot twists, the quotes, the purity of characters and, mainly, the smiles. The smiling faces when people tell about your silly dreams and face the death.

In a review from friend of mine, I read an brilliant advice: “turn off the brain to let yourself travel within this fantastic world”.

@Pirulitokun: wow, you are absolutely 200% correct on all aspects he is totally right guys, gurren lagann is so under-appreciated and most people cant seem to grasp how great this series really is

@DoD: and one piece too, OP and gurren are the same in the way that people judge it silly immediately, but watch through the series and you'll realize how WRONG YOU HEATHENS ARE! WRONG!

And just so you guys know, I started on Moyashimon yesterday, and it was fanfuckingtastic.

it took me some time to actually adjust to OP's art, what converted me was the abundance of violence it has for a shonen title.

I was actually surprised Oda has no sense of subtlety with violence whatsoever. But the panels are so explosive! And the conversations and random moments are awesome.

@Pirulitokun- *same as DoD* Yes, "Pinoy" is a term we Filipinos use to refer to ourselves... Mainly because Filipino/ Pilipino is a long word, and we're fond of shortening things. We also tend to speak in both English and Filipino (and other dialects. Also, don't confuse Tagalog with Filipino... They're actually different...) in the thread since they're both our main language.

My brothers and I were on our way to the Philippines and we had read that there had been an accident and one of their major hospitals had burnt down, so we took all the the ticket sales and donated them to the hospital and they were able to rebuild a new one.
