Speaking as the eldest of three, I'd say older siblings are there to be exploited . It reinforces a sense of superiority, deserved or not .

Besides, if she can't bring you the items she can just conveniently forget.

they allowed me to go through security with a shuriken... but that was because I duped them hehe.

Ahh customs, i forget that is whats actually meant to be done. I seem to think its like me where I always get stopped at security even when i have nothing =/

I duped them because I actually had two. I bought a somewhat authentic shuriken (that I imagine would indeed be deadly if I threw it at someone...) and a small plastic shuriken keychain.

when they stopped me and asked me if I had a shuriken in my bag, I said pfft, sure. then I showed them the keychain and they said, aw man it's just a puny widdle keychain, so they let me through.

actually hunt, the Japanese security let me through. It was the Pinoys who gave me trouble. >.>

I thought I could pull the same stunt on them, then the guy at the monitor says "hindi yan. malaki yung nakita ko e". So then I had to tell them the truth and declare it and all that jazz. Hassle, but it got through. I have the shuriken with me. hehe.

There was a prank a few weeks back stating that Jobs tried to "smuggle" shuriken out of Japan. He was allegedly caught at an airport in HK (or was it Taiwan???), and was forced to return to Japan since they wouldn't let him pass, even if he was going to ride his own private jet. It's a hoax, but yeah.
