it's just me dude, i dont feel like reading the manga when i already saw the anime. i read es21 manga before i watched the anime so that got me hooked up. i never watched a single op episode, manga lang ung nabasa ko. i want something i havent watched pa. ung nasa mangavolume para madali. hehe

MD kung wala kang mabasa, try nyo yung mga Seinen One Shots na accessible dito sa MH. (Sa General Seinen Section). Masaya sya basahin at saka sure ka na matatapos mo kase nga one shots.

Also, if you're up for laughs, you can try My balls. It's currently ongoing right now and has only three chapters scanlated by the people here, but I asure you, you will be laughing your as* off with those funny antics. I'll give you the link here *check threads* ah HERE IT IS
It's one of the funniest that I can recommend to you. And it won'y leave you hanging with cliffhangers.

ayus lang naman MD. How about Seinen One shots? They're pretty good for light reading. I'd recommend Hotel, She got off the Bus at the Peninsula, White Clouds and Present

About FMA, I think you can read all of them on your RD. Pero if you're thinking of reading it while at work I beleive you can't finish it on one sitting (or one day). AKo it took me a alomost a month to finish it. Well, mas mabilis siguro kung di ako nagbabasa online nun at di rin queueing.

it is very hyped since it's one of the very few episodes na manga-related ung plot. althought only a little more than half ung canon and the rest is still filler. and as with MD, medyo dud din un ep...

well 2 shows are about to end sa pre-primetime slot, ghostfighter and jewel in the palace. one of them will surely taken over by bleach. and (crossing fingers) the other is hopefully gto live action.
maybe they can get inspiration from cartoon network us for mature scenes shown for children and what baboysai noticed....for bloody scenes, edit ung scenes para naglalaway ung mga characters...for alcoholic references maybe "power juice" (in OP) or seasoning (yugioh-gx), for smoking...lolipop?
anyways...samurai x has been shown before so meron nang standard kung what kind of edits are appropriate imo...

KTS, matatapat sa primetime drama shows ang Bleach? Paano na makakanood yung mga fans na iisa lang ang TV at nakawelding na sa kamay ng mga Lola at Nanay ang control ng TV at ayaw ipalipat dahil Primetime Bida na? Waaaah!

its PRE-primetime, the anime block, i.e. 1700-1830. that way u can watch OP at 5, maybe bleach next and naruto at the same time and gto live maybe b4 the news...now IF only ch. 2 would get es21 and maybe gantz or deathnote after "pangako sa 'yo" is finished or the timeslot before naruto (with OP), then THAT would make my day...

@MD, yeah i know what you mean when you don't like reading the manga if you've watched it already. However, dahil sa bitin minsan, I usually read the rest of the vols that haven't been animated. Good enough. Except, tinanong ko na to before sa thread na to, if it's FMA, totally different daw yung manga. I don't have any plans reading the manga anyway kasi di naman ako nabitinan sa anime + movie.

How bout shoujo and josei stuff, you interested?

@tochits, is gantz good? The guy at spectrum said it is, kaso if Berserk was morbid, this was waaaay more. AAAA... binabasa ko pa kasi berserk and a lot of scenes disturb me a lot. Though nasisikmura ko pa naman. I dunno if I'm mentally prepared for gantz...

Naalala ko lang, wag nyo ko pansinin may isshare lang ako. Back when I was like, 5th grade, advent ng Jose Rizal movie ni cesar montano- it caused me a week of sleepless nights kasi I kept dreaming about the rape scene. Heh la lang. Grade 5 pa naman ako nun...

ung sa rizal, kahit hindi ko pa napanood ung scene na un...parang naala-ala ko ung discussion namin sa binasa namin sa english in college, "state of war" by n. rosca. doon may kwento tungkol sa pag-hahanda ng mga kababaihan sa pagdating ng mga amerikano sa samar by doing some "exercises" dahil sa mga kwento na pagkukumpara ng mga ilong ng mga kano sa kanilang...

gantz is good... I don't know about berserk so I can't give a comparison, pero gantz is gore, blood and a tad bit of sex (pero napa-wtf then cool! ako dahil sa kung pano siningit yung sex scenes
