Mandriva Powerpack 2007--running off a usb2 external drive....

slackware! thats waaaay hardcore, the latest stable, bleeding edge minimallist distro available.
much like MH, rawer than raw! at kung sushi, kahihiwa pa lang sa buhay na isda.

in fact i knew some "borg queen" who's proud of her slackware system. sobrang galing sa CompSci kulang na lang pakasalan na nya si Dijkstra at Linus Torvalds.... (search nyo na lang sa wiki kng cno sila).

me, something that's for advanced users of windows na hindi masyadong "dumbed down" for newbies providing the greatest balance between getting things done immediately(with the best eye-candy) and advanced configuration. downside--more bugs than the usual distro...

slackware tend to favor the bold, the advanced and those opting for the simple. for you to be aware of that, you surely are truly blessed...

yeah when me and my friends took a linux seminar from a linux certified coach he immediately made aware to us the many advantages of slackware... since we are taught like you say the rawest of the raw we became versatile with the other distros na. altho intimidating nga lang yung slackware kase sobrang kernel mode, kahit nasa gui mode ka na parang hindi mo na maiiwasang magkernel mode. haha. but i havent used it in like two years

look at us, couple of linus fans talking about distros in a manga forum

Seriously, that's from his alma mater's auditorium i think, Hollywood High. Checking wiki... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_High_School ...OMG! the organ is historic!.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hollywood_High_Organ_Opus_481 That SOB! never told me their organ was like that!

Just wish churches and schools here would have a "genuine" pipe organ that's regularly used like in the states with competent organists playing them.

Yeah he seems to have improved. He's got organ fetish (the instrument kind ) He started keyboards like 2-3 years ago? and now he's better than me who only finished grade 2 piano. Me, I'm still struggling to play canon in d (the sassy girl piano piece) on the piano yet he can play something like "the entertainer" soo easily. he prefers chords than classical pieces though. That's why he's having a hard time playing the toccatish part. not as good as the naruto pianist though, wished he had access to a pipe organ and we'd all be wowed on our knees....

He's also into video editing. He "claims" to have contributed to one of the funniest naruto amv with the best lip-sync i've ever seen... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oBJmzWxbPo (not the original post though--can't find it)...yeah the one with king nauto at the end...made it last 9/2005...he can't find the raw though....better ask him again about this...

btw, if you want to know the music sheets of your favorite songs, just get the midi file of that song and open it in a notation viewer/editor like the ones from here http://ace.acadiau.ca/score/others.htm. btw, moi is still looking for a midi of the sexiness theme from naruto, anyone got it?

Madriva? Mandrake+Vista? Nice. What can you say about Debian and Fedora? I try to like linux distros but my heart still lies with Solaris. Ontime and Uptime wise, hats down to Solaris.

Phew...a week after the ASEAN summit was busy yet successful. Musta na guyz? As far as I can tell, why talk Starstruck sa GMA? I heard Bleach is about to be released in Philippine shores by next month. Hmmm...hoping di sila magkamali sa pagpangalan ng mga characters like sa Tsubasa Chronicles, ginawa nilang Tsubasa, which magkapareha din sa Captain Tsubasa ng soccer anime and ang ngalan ng Shaoran sa original Japanese anime, ginawa nilang Shaoran Kun, which we all know, the word "kun" refers to an address given to a person at the same age or younger. If that would be the case, why not use also Sakura Hime ^_^

BTW, have you seen the Naruto Shippuuden trailer? Astig talaga, however, kinda emo on my part kasi I was expecting a change in cast, considering the age growth...Hoping ABS-CBN will be able to have the rights in having a copy of it, in conjunction sa Naruto series pinalabas sa Pinas!

I'm in Australia (Melbourne).

I left P.I. back in '87 and I haven't been back to visit since '94. I can still speak fluently I just have to 'sound out' the tagalog when I'm reading it.
