btw, seems the ghost on sc2 has been buffed..... the goliath/wraith/valkyrie merge really looks promising....

- yeah at least the goal was accomplished but the hero/heroin(?) dies at the end. im usually touched by those type of plot endings. take Gladiator or Man On Fire, damn! love those movies!

- oh mhen. i wish you could play uo. uhm, are graphics an eye-candy must for you when it comes to games? i know WoW has cool graphics but im more on gameplay and online social structure. the game offers skills from really kick-ass (magery, ninjitsu, fencing, swordsmanship, alchemy, mace fightiting) to mundane ones (herding, cooking, tailoring, taming, forensic evaluation, meditation, lumberjacking, bow fletching) so you can choose whoever you want to be online.

Spoiler: here's an example on how important skills are to be stacked with each other

- e.i. let's say you're an archer. so default skill is archery. items you need are bow, arrows. but then what if you run out of arrows during a battle? fear not because here are several skills that will support you all the way to becoming an efficient and self-providing archer.

1. Lumberjacking = let's you hack trees and cut them down to lumber then eventually to planks of wood which you need for arrows.

2. Bow Fletching = let's you cut the planks down to arrows. now you got arrows, but we're missing someting. and that's feathers. yes, arrows needs feathers just like the real thing. you can roam around the forest since there should be several birds scattered around, kill them to get their feathers and then complete your arrows.

3. Anatomy = let's you anatomize/analyze a target's anatomical structure, giving you hints of their weak spots, telling you where to hurt them most, giving out maximum/critical damage almost the time.

- now, you might say that its ridiculous to do all these while in battle. honestly, ive done it a lot of times during tourneys. no matter how many arrows you carry, it wont be enough because the target will be moving around the forest and behind trees and you'll just waste arrows on tree barks. and besides its not only arrows that you need to carry. there are also weight limit issues. the more you carry, the more inefficient you get with your actions. it affects almost everything that you do in battle. so for me i just carry a dagger, axe, fletcher's tools, potions (poison, heal, mana, explosion), arrows, bow, teleport scrolls, food (can range from cake to turkey) and an extra armor set that has resistance to magic (in case i go 1 on 1 with a mage). pretty much everything i have has poison in it. poisonous daggers, poisonous arrows and poisonous food. travelers get hungry most of the time during their journey, and hunger slows down the character and renders him/her almost inefficient during battle. so i bring food, poison them, and lay them around a corner then lurk. most of the time people fall for them. phew! aint it long, right? heh. i hope i clearly described to you what you're gonna be up against when you join the UO online community.

@MD- lol...same in WoW! classes: druids, hunters, mages, paladins, priests, shamans, warriors, and warlocks XD coming soon: death knight secondary class (for any one to earn and become). each class can branch out to 3 different talent trees or mix and match! as for professions: tailoring, enchanting, mining, blacksmithing, skinning, leatherworking, jewel crafting, herbalism, alchemy, and engineering...and coming soon: inscription! XD you can mix and match any 2 main professions and you also have the option to learn 3 other 2ndary professions: first aid, cooking, and fishing! XD so it's about the same! lolz....there are also racial bonuses depending on which race you pick (e.g. undeads have the cannibalize racial that enables them to eat dead enemies)

- WoW seems cool. but i dont like branching out of skill, which makes you stick to your class. i just think that's it way better if you can choose who you want to be, acquire some hidden skills that people dont usually see basing on your profile and physical appearance. its called the "element of surprise"

- its like you can pretend to be a cook and poison their food to kill an entire platoon or even a guild, depends on how big it is. or you can be a cartographer for hire, adventures come to you to have the tattered map they acquired to be mapped out clearly for them, but then you give them another map and you get to keep the real one, you sail away to that X mark on the map and get the treasure for yourself.
