try beck...vagabond too..wonder why you didnt like Berserk or Gantz..i too didnt like berserk at the start, so didnt prioritized it until later..and after volume 3, i began to love it...Gantz is awesome too, the romantic angle of that manga is very good and the character development was quite awesome..

one thing we share though, i didnt like One Piece the anime...so i didnt even try reading the manga...i'm not sure how it started but what i really love is character development specially in sports or action based mangas..so i want the main characters to be not so good at the start but with great potential and they became stronger as the story goes on. like in naruto, berserk, vagabond, bleach, eyeshield 21, beck etc. i think One Piece did not start like that so didnt give it a chance...same with black cat, samurai deeper kyo..

can i give a suggestion on how to read an e-book? try ms reader...it opens .lit files..pretty handy ebook reader, its more like reading a real book, very easy to use..its like the equivalent of CDisplay in reading mangas..its a free ware from microsoft itself so it can be a plug-in for ms word..so you can convert the word files into ms reader files..

@garp: you're right! at first i was reading berserk and of course the simplicity of the plot makes one apprehensive to continue, but then volume 3 came and the band of the hawk legend, and wow, it easily blew me away, what an epic story berserk is. epic. the first word that comes to my mind when mentioning berserk , and gantz is just too impossible to put down.

ms reader is a good reader. if you want a portable adobe reader, try Foxit. a clone of adobe reader, but only 1mb! great handy app.

btw, this is the best harry potter 7 ebook currently, cleanest, typo-fixed, page-accurate (768 pages) and with a cover pic

I dunno. It's just that when I read Love celeb, there was no pretensiousness. Like I's. parang, kung may "action", abay chap 1 pa lang aksyon na nga! wahaha. The reason I read cute shojou like furuba is because of character development. Pag mga smut manga kasi, usually there's little time for character development. Usually smut manga are plot-driven, not character-driven. Wala lang, para naman maiba. hehe.

Hmm.. dinelete ko ata yung one piece na na-dl ko hahaha. I'll check again.

My reply became a post before yonie's! so I deleted the post and just thought of replying again, and when I refreshed the page it was still there! salamat sa kopya ng HP7..pangit ung kopya ko dami typo, magkakadikit ung words..baka ituloy ko na pagbabasa..by the way i dont like reading in pdf format, i hate scrolling down, nawawala ako sa lines so i prefer page by page reading..that's why i love ms reader, adjustable pa font size to whatever suits you..i just save the pdf files in word format then convert them to ms reader files..

about berserk, you're not the first person to connote the word EPIC to berserk..

some seinin like dance til tomorrow, honeymoon salad are pretty ecchi too, and have lots of s*x scenes.. but the drawings are not as good as To-LOve-Ru or Golden Boy..

no problem man...i still suggest you use it as an offficial reader ..and the file size would surely be reduced by half...cool about your e-books group..i have tons of them, but mostly on fantasy...

actually bro if you have limewire, the majority of ebooks are in .lit format...pdf and doc files are things of the past already..

so when i DL ebooks i usually choose the .lit files than the other formats, no need to convert..and the file size is pretty small, more than half compared to pdf, so the faster to DL..
