@garpjr- it's a silent hill fanfic that i worked on back in highschool... there are some characters from the original game (alessa, dahlia gillespe), adn some originals (tim rhodes, adn the cops, whoom names i took from the members of black sabbath mark 2)

@l4pb: dont worry man, your screenplays have a good atmosphere to it ... i'm an appreciative guy, that screenplay would work great for an aggressive music score in that regard right? or if it's meant to be slow the killing should be given more limelight, like allowing the scenes to blend more to the pre-killing, take the center of the atmosphere to the event... otherwise, imo this really needs an aggressive score.

you'd do great in noir fiction dude!

dont feel down man, noir is a complicated genre, it doesnt mean you make a depressing, sinful atmosphere it's already a good noir. take the animatrix "A Detective Story". detective noir definitely, but only the visuals, the dialogue sucked so bad, and i dont think the japanese are to blame. in noir the screenplay is crucial. and a good noir is NEVER a stereotype. a stereotype feels like a stereotype. i've seen lots of noirs and good noirs dont feel like stereotypes. "A detective story" is a painful stereotype

@yonie- heh...i guess... i need a way to get rid of writers block...i mean i write lots of stuff, but i never finish anything since i keep on getting slumped

i'm thinking of taking up creative writing for college (since my last attempt to get a diploma ended up in the school closing down....what? don't look at me like that! it wasn't my fault....yeah..well sure they entire faculty go the shits, but there is such thing as coincidence! *whistles*) any suggestions? anyone?

dunno about these schools man, no idea. a genius like me just frequently uses sharingan to master the art of others in the blink of an eye just kdding. i get that writer's slump too, definitely a lot during my childhood. back then i think in school or in the streets and then get so excited about a new comic idea i rush home draw/write it down (im a comic freak) but then the euphoria dies tomorrow. is that bipolar disorder or ADS? i guess the cure to beat slump is an idea that will never get you slumped. huh. easier said

lol....too busy these days to actually draw, trace, erease, scan, edit, and post a new comic...not to mention thinking of something funny to draw....sigh....busy with one of my biggest vices- games....>__< anyway the link i gave also has one of my reent attmepts to write a novel....actually, it's a sequel to starship troopers (THE BOOK! NOT THE MOVIE!)

- first of all, really good stuff you got here mhen. you said this was one of your early works? i gotta say you got talent ahead.
- one-shots? yeah, i miss 'em too. never fails to get a few laughs out of those
- so its screenplay. ill try my best to get it done by of the day.
- i wonder how i never liked writing. is it cuz im OC? really cant tell. one scenario i can think of when doing that stuff is arguing with myself which word is the best for a certain phrase or sentence. anyone here with OCD definitely has to agree with me, or, should i say MOST of them will.

- slumps huh!? an idea that will never get you slumped... really hard to think of something like that. friends wonder why i never get things done. its more like you start doing something but never finish the job because of the "slump". im just trying to make sense in the broader side of things. like what someone told me "jack of all trades... master of nothing."

you guys know hiro mashima? of rave? isn't it striking how his artwork is strikingly similar to oda? (hindi naman siya plagiarist, 1998 ang rave 1997 ang op) but his works are great, im reading fairy tail now, i love it!

ratatouille is still lingering in my mind. haha i love that film, i think im gonna watch it again

hey i just finished fairy tail to the latest chapter last night, read it straight too..galing! mejo bitin lang, i wanna find out how they'll fight those fuckin phantom lords..the mangakas artwork is a bit similar to one piece..

@l4pb, yeah creative writing is really a good thing to learn. I kinda miss it since I only took it as an elective subject. But I learned so much, even in one semester. I'll go read your Trench city after I read Nodame.

I remember watching this on AXN before. And I think I liked it, but somehow it lost its "re-playability". Maybe I'll give a shot of the manga and see. Anyways, you can never really judge the thing until you read the manga. -_-

- anyone watching those two? havent seen Devil May Cry but you gotta see Afro Samurai, its like watching the evolution of Cowboy Bebop to Samurai Champloo then to that one. its cool! the artwork reminds me of World Record from Animatrix.

I didn't get to finish reading Trench, because I realized I don't like reading screenplays. I like to read written works that are meant to be read. Then I didn't read the starship troupers thing because I don't know zit about starship troupers, and there are no paragraph breaks too. I wonder if it's because of the way you pasted it?
