the solution to that is- soul searching. hehe. Taking time away from people, and just think. Or at least to prevent anger from developing, and allow patience to kick in. that's what I do when there are setbacks with my design.

you got any review for that? I'm not particularly into gundam kasi e. but maybe I'll consider watching 00. I've also read about it sa ANN. If it's tear-inducing CG, i'll definitely take my time watching.

hm yeah, i've been doing that...... for like every day of my life!!! haha. i always think that when somebody invents an anger grapher machine thingy i'd be the first to volunteer, and really see how much anger i keep inside. keeping anger is like masochism. releasing it is a much better ecstasy! *sigh* usually a sigh calms me down. just think of a sigh. damn it works!

im just not used to all this busy-nez atmosphere. i hate it! its a massive change of atmosphere, from a lazy ass bum. if i miss one minute of rest i get really pissed off...

yeah i saw that poster too, my friend posted it in his blog. He captioned it with "coming to theaters near you" so I was quite excited about it. Is it true? I'll have to investigate more on the matter. Seems a remake of astroboy (with tear-jerking CG) makes me more excited than gundam...

Pano pag in lab na in lab ka sa isang guy/girl, but he/she's totally in love with an older woman/man? Sakit sa puso lang kasi reading this manga, especially after I realize that it had been scanlated by a seemingly inactive group. -_- I'll never get to know what'll happen afterwards!! yan ang SAWI!!

Fee: P50 (students); P100 (Museum Foundation members); P150 (non-members) The Lopez Memorial Museum and the Museum Foundation of the Philippines will host a lecture by preeminent comic writer and artist Gerry Alanguilan on Philippine Komiks on October 13, 2007 (Saturday) from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Komiks in the Philippines had its golden age in the 1950s to the early 1970s and is on a resurgence. The talk will provide an overview of the history of komiks the aesthetics as well as the artists and work involved in this collaborative art.
Alanguilan is a licensed architect who has become known for his work as an inker for Marvel, DC and Image, and on books like New X-men, Fantastic Four, X-Force, Wolverine, Batman: Danger Girl, Silent Dragon, and Superman: Birthright. Here in the Philippines, he has written and drawn comics since 1992 including Johnny Balbona. Siglo Anthology stories, Lastik-Man, Tales of the Big City, Timawa, Humanis Rex! and published Wasted, Crest Hut Butt Shop, Dead Heart Stories and currently Elmer through his own Komikero Publishing.
Alanguilan has not only inspired artists through his works and advice but is continually working to make more people appreciate the works of local comic artists from the 1950s to the 1970s.
The Stories on Philippine Art lecture series aims to create more awareness of various personalities, art forms and practices in the country. Fee is Php50 for students, Php100 for Museum Foundation members, Php150 for non-Museum Foundation members. I'm running out of shoujo to read.. And the latest seinen I picked up was monster. Na-disappoint naman ako na it had sort of the same mood as 20CB, so it's like reading the same thing. sigh.

Hmm... Maybe I should read Gantz?

read gantz! i didnt read Monster manga, i watched the anime. the anime follows accurately the manga but much more gorgeous. but even if i experienced monster first i'd still pick 20thCB

For Seinen, read Gantz! You won't be disappointed with all the action!
Haven't read that much Seinen but if like you mangas for light reading, I'd recommend you to visit mangascreener and look up for some titles there. That's where I got the National Quiz manga.

re: Monster
I actually felt the same thing (disappointed in some sort). It's like all the thrilling plots that was supposed to be intended for Monster, got sucked up by reading 20thCB. Maybe I should have read Monster months after I've read 20thCB.

haha. we do have MASSIVE influx of naruto scans every week. if you want, you can wait for japflap's releases. kng gusto mo ngayon, ewan ko, hindi k dinadload lahat ng scans kay bludshock (mangashare) lg ako kumukuha lagi ng speedscans

@feano, hello. by cleaned scans you mean without text? Kasi kung with text, I second yoniekai's suggestion. Japflap scans are the best. Tska they get amaretti to color for them ^^ speaking of coloring, amaretti posted in his dA his coloring style tutorials, basic and advanced. Kung wala namang text, e madali lang naman burahin ang text diba?

speaking of stardust, when I saw the trailer, the moment claire danes appeared on screen I choked. I really don't like her for the part. She looks too old, and her face annoys the hell outa me.
