I'm really happy right now that I'm starting to have time for stuff I'm interested in... kaso when job stuff come, er.. I dunno.

My mom is here right now on her way back to Bukidnon, so we'll be seeing each other over dinner. I'm deliberating if I should tell her I wanna pursue culinary arts... >.< Telling parents is such a pain.

nope. no OJT, no job recommendations... palpak ang college na pinasok ko, ang motto nga namin lahat, "self-study". pero wala nang atrasan

so bb wala ka nang plano mag work muna?

usually yan namang mga job recommendations na yan e binibigay lang sa mga claude students o kaya yung mga members ng councils. para sa mga normal na estudyante, wala namang ganyan e.

ok lang naman kung walang job recommendations, ang sama ng loob namin eh tinanggal ang OJT sa batch namin. which, as future employees in the IT industry, really need to jumpstart their careers. eh anong nangyari dito, ang mga graduates eh mahirap pumasok, malaki at grabe ang competition sa industry na to eh. yung mga teachers rin naiinis sa management dito, ang mga magagaling at certified teachers nagsiumalis, ang isa nga siya pa ang nahire imbes ang mga students niya sa field trip nila... kaya ang natitirang full-time teachers namin eh mga lima lang.

natuto na rin kami na hindi na mag-asa pa sa school at kami na nga nagaaral ng mga languages at concepts on our own, yung thesis course nga namin notorious kase number one reason ng mga engineering teachers, "how can the students do this if they haven't been taught?" we're on our own, kaya dapat surpass mo ang competition by yourself

wawa ka naman yonie, pinabayaan na kau ng mga "brothers" unlike sa "main" campus, astigin ang mga slaves este "produce" ng workforce.

dito ka na kc sa imperial capital, where the primary concerns of science/tech courses with their projects are:
- which contests will this win?
- how many awards can it get?
- how much is the prize money?
- do i get media exposure with this?


saka sa pagkuha ng minors/electives....sino kaya na may phd instructor ang kukunin ko? saka kelangan minimum ay may masters ha....

I'm still looking for ALL the possible options. The ideal thing to do is work part-time while studying culinary. I talked to my mom about it and she says it's okay, as long as I get my architectural license. So I need to get the facts straight and inquire and investigate kung anong mga pwede ipagsabay and stuff.

I also need to work because I decided even if I can't pay my rent, at least I should start earning for my living expenses or bills. My mom said just to make it clear which one I should commit to so I can learn to manage my money at magtipid. Kasi nga daw, di ako marunong mamuhay on budget Which I admit

@BB- you can work part-time while studying....but that may interfere with your studying...i know it did with mine...hmmhm

@hopes- our school didn't do very well with us either... na arrage ung sections by how smart the students are. so kapag section A ka, matalino ka...the further down the alphabet, the lower the grades got...so when i was in D we were all "ah, fuck it...we're dumb anyway, what hope do we have of getting ahead in life?"...

gusto ko rin nga yan eh, work and study more, study lang for the sake of a certificate or degree. kaso eh, have to find a job first

re: work
I just realized that 99% of arki graduates cheat their apprenticeship and that they can take the board even without the 100% legal apprenticeship. Some go freelance, others do graphic arts, and just review when the time comes to refresh their memory and take the board. -_-

So plano ko pa-raket-raket (which I have started doing for a year now with my studies) pa rin and it would be enough to pay for my bills at least.
