btw, the visual studio express editions are really good. and free...

you may want to get the SDK too. and pwede na rin cya for games and opengl. pati ata directx kaya eh. one of the good things that MS has done, releasing a free IDE suite.

edit: ay, wala pala cyang MFC at ATL...too bad...looks like native code and managed lng pwede.... or "straw hats" version.....

ah man im just forcing myself to study this crap.... yes, i call it crap. i lost all interest to computer programming. i remember when i was a kid, around 7, my AMA best programmer cousin were making foxpro stuff and i thought its the coolest thing, and eventually he taught me and i learned foxpro. i also learned MS-DOS from him come to think of it. in high school i was still passionate. then came college, pretty interested nalg. and by the 3rd year i've lost it. i want to do other things..........

strayed-off ambitions? hm... i don't usually share this, but when i was a kid, my ambition is to be a successful guy before i turn 19, and die before i turn 20 (not by suicide).... and now i'm 22... can't get anymore strayed than that...

yo, so i took the reco successfully. and it was............ i dont know what to feel. the teacher i was so mad at kept mentioning me, positively. "so we have jed here who was from another class and he took it with you guys, and thank you jed for coming here." and then he keeps making me lead the flow in games or activities. i also made the class laugh at talks. the class in turn made me feel comfortable. "see jed, there's a reason you missed your class, to make this class more fun. let's give a round for jed for joining us."

@BBS- i used to. my bassist found another band, my drummer got a job, and i never really had a vocalist....no one sings glam anymore, they're all just emo faggots now...or useless rappers... the main reason to why i've never had a permanent vocalist is because i'm picky with my sound. they can't over/under enunciate or else i kick them out. at a certain point my band just asked me to sing, but i cant sing for shit...so we just decided to break up...not like we ever did anything that productive anyway (i listen to lots of oldschool stuff from the late 60's to late 80's, my bassist listens to classic rock, prog, and rap, and my drummer listens to funk, prog, and pop).

@hunter- thats the problem, everyone just thinks of things that sound "good". i want lyrics that actually mean something even if it is a really dumb thing (e.g. getting wasted). i don't want my vocalist to just puke out the lyrics into what ever catchy mess he comes up with.
