Name Policy
For identification purposes, every user is required to provide their
Full Name as their
Display Name.
You can change your display name at the
Profile Menu, then go to
Account Related Settings. Name should be written as:
FirstName LastName
Penalty: Failure to comply would result into account deletion.
Distribution of Personal Information
This includes releasing any information about other people or ICS Officers without express permission.
Penalty: Two days ban.
Extreme Sexuality/Violence
This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that refer to extreme and/or violent sexual acts, extremely violent actions.
Penalty: Five days ban.
Sexual Orientation
This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that insultingly refer to any aspect of sexual orientation pertaining to themselves or another person.
Penalty: Five days ban.
Harassment or Defamation
This includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing language or images that insultingly refer to another person or groups of people.Harassment takes many forms, and is not necessarily limited to the type of language used, but the intent.
Penalty: Ten days ban.
Spamming and Trolling
This includes the following:
1. Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish.
2. Creating threads for the sole purpose of causing unrest on the forums.
3. Causing disturbances in forum threads, such as picking fights, making off-topic posts that ruin the thread, insulting other posters.
4. Making non-constructive posts.
Penalty: Three days ban.
Signatures
Images in signatures should not exceed 500 pixels in width and 300 pixels in height. Combined text and image signatures should not exceed the 500 pixel width and 300 pixel height boundary. In no instance should the combined size of images in multiple image signatures exceed 500 pixels in width, 300 pixels in height.
Penalty: The signature will be deleted.
User Posted Images
This includes screenshots and images from other sites or image hosters. User posted images should be in the form of hyperlinks or thumbnail images unless the image is 300 pixels in
height or less. Thumbnail images should not exceed 200 pixels in height. Inline linking or direct linking from a site or host that does not expressly allow such will be considered bandwidth theft and will be dealt with accordingly.
Penalty: The image will be deleted.
Outsiders not Allowed
Membership is only for Students(including former students), Teachers and Staffs of Informatics.
Penalty: Account Deletion.
Text/Cellphone Language not Allowed
No text speak, for search purposes. Off-topics are excluded.
Penalty: Post Deletion
Capitalizations and Font sizes
Posting on ALL CAPS and too large font sizes are not allowed.
