tingnan mo nga ko, i have a project and i have to learn a new microcontroller and php+gd to make nice dynamic web pages for a datalogging and control interface.... although i can skip that part naman daw...but everybody wants to do eyecandy right?

haha yeah! the fuck la salle is to blame. all universities are to blame. a lot of universities support java in programming language studies, because its business-friendly. but yeah right now im gaining experience, i can say im efficient in c++ as i was in java and Qt is a high-level framework as well, the same architecture as java.

i find that most of my null pointer errors are typos

object oriented programming is not hard to learn dude, you can master OOP in uh, about two weeks at most? you can pick a language then, recommended of course c++ (you'll see for yourself when you learn the two) learn the basic syntax and just pick up from there. i just started reading c++ a month ago and i can use it efficiently now. i dont know all libraries of course! but learn only the ones you need. efficiently. dont read all libraries man you'll die

and believe that the coding is the easy part of programming man, the difficult is forming the design of everything

remembered ung dati (abandoned) kong project, it has electronics/hardware, interfacing, assembly language, device driver/dll/win32 api in C++, full blown gui app in G language...as in complete product development! tapos kelangan pa ng manual at documentation...all by myself!!!!
no wonder it never got finished!!!!

oi bb it was great yesterday, our system got the second most number of votes in the showcase, every tester loved it, which is kinda unfair you know everybody developed for months, we (i) only did ours for two weeks btw our system is a standalone image viewer with editor, here's a screenshot

i dont want any gripes about the blur and sharpen icons. i'll kill you. yes its HIDEOUS but im still clueless on what icon to put
anyway its still far from finished, i need to make the icons themed and add some more pracical features, and speed up some tools, the blur and sharpen take about three-five seconds

yonie, that looks way better than our inventory project (which isn't working now because the compiler refuses the upgrades in the operating system). themes are second priority. have you made a help file? how about add an editor for future upgrades?

it has an editor, look at the bottom toolbar, but i only add practical tools. like blur, or sharpen, crop resize etc. brush painting is not really practical right? who uses the brush to paint in images these days? (i have a gut feeling im mistaken) im gonna add a brightness or a level. btw few people actually browse images using fullscreen so i decided not to include that... im gonna modify it too so the window size is as big as the image, but not more than the desktop. i was inspired by media player classic so the system is a standalone, no more installers

what's wrong with your compiler? tell us about your system TM and me can probably help you out

forget it. all i learned is not to combine java with access and html and compile it with a 30-day trial program that increases program file sizes by 150% and expires after 30 days.

damn. right now pinoproblema ko ang aking mga minor subjects. literature, philosophy psychology and speech should not be taken together in a schedule for a day.
