), theirs is a face recognition authorization system. search for OpenCV, research library by intel. it was mighty interesting and amazing, there are some environment problems like lighting and stuff but the system is functional. it was great and actually inspired me to move with mine, if i was as passionate as them, i could have developed something better

HELL NO! not toby....someone else...i mean, making a live action macross is ok, and even having american actors is ok (since they are american in the anime)...i just can't picture someone like spiderman as rick...rick is supposed to look and act like a pussy at first, but he becomes badass later on....toby is FAR from badass... i mean toby magure can't pass off as a good admiral, he doesn't have enough presence for it.
dude, he sold out years ago. they've planned the akira movie years ago. you know hollywood -- movie adaptations rarely gets the go signal in less than five years of deliberation. there's even movies that waited for twenty years before being made a movie.
