I think its Villaroi's fault that he did not win, or maybe his trainer. He needs to throw more punches. On the bright side he didnt lose either.

Did Morales really fall in the second round already? I think his weight loss should be blamed for his loss though. He seriously looked in need of a giant burger, or something.

I'm kinda hoping he doesn't request for one more fight with Pacquiao though. It's obvious enough he needs to stop. I dont really want to see him retire either. He's a good fighter.

There's nothing to blame, Morales agreed to the fight knowing he'd have to go down to super-featherweight. I don't think there should be any excuse at this point, and I don't think Morales is gonna make excuses, it's a battle between men and Manny won.

Wahhh, I pity for Morales also. It was his last shocking fight that just ended in three rounds! He has to end his career as an international boxer.

Anyways, I'm on the verge of making preparations. Can anyone, at least, help me understand the roles of cleaning a RAW manga. Does it include editing the word balloons with English words?!?

i just told PP that i won't join shannaro anymore, the frocking school just gets in the way of my already restless life. i dont think that devoting about two hours for cleaning a single page will even be available in the skeds. but you know, i did learn a lot from cleaning pages. @Musashi Gen: are you planning a cleaning group? i dont know bout editing english words, but the cleaners just leave the balloons blank as it is the job for the typesetters/translators.

one thing about cleaning a LQ raw page, the feeling you get when you see the page is cleaned by you, no matter how rigorous....really, it just feels good.

i saw the pacquiao match, and i just felt a deep sense of pity for the moraleses (hehe. moraleses.)....that moment when morales was sitting tired in the ring while the referee's counting to ten, he looked at his dad, and his dad was yelling "get up!", and erik was like "no way man", or was it more like "easy for you to say".

With the cleaning group idea, I planned to join so as to support clean manga releases. However, from your experience in cleaning, what programs do I need to have?!?

Lastly, you attending to school?!? What level in highschool or college?

haha. yeah, its good he said "no more". one more and he would just blurt "No..."

this is based from my experience. you'd need a good image editing app, and photoshop is i think the best one for the job. the first time i did cleaning i was confused on what to do first, so this is my steps in cleaning:

1. resizing the images to 820X1200 (get a raw that is not smaller than this size, if not, 754X1100, which is almost the same ) btw, straighten the pages so it doesnt bend
2. levelling the whites so it becomes more white, the dusty grays so it becomes white, and the blacks get blacker
3. cleaning the frames
4. cleaning the bubbles
5. black colors get all dusty, so erase the dusts to make the blacks clean , same goes for white fills
6. redraw lines that are blotty, unclear, or messed up. just dont redraw too much, it destroys the original artwork. this is where i made big mistakes. to me, don't redraw the thick lines. its hard to achieve the same effect anyway.
7. for gray parts, redrawing lines is highly recommended (you'll see for yourself).
8. for shannaro, they don't use filters or noised colors. other groups do, but when you compare it to shannaro's, redrawing the speed lines manually and not motion blurring them is a lot prettier. solid grey is also better than noised.

i think that's all dude. one thing, you need to master the art of using the Pen tool. not just for cleaning, but photoshop is very hard when you dont know how to use this tool. btw, im 18 and in college.

yeah i...no we do have photoshop, we're computer science students so we install a lot of apps. photoshop is really useful dude, a must have for the modern youth.

haha. being active in a forum makes you a member of the civilized modern youth already, di ba? i notice that although the internet is widely used now, it seems that not all users are as exploratory as us here. using friendster is as common as using word processors now, but the net is not all friendster, right?

I agree, pero mIRC is part of the net and is most common than Friendster, considering all types of individual chat, either males, females, homosexuals, teens, nor etc.

I just saw the video in TV Patrol. I am feeling terrible for Morales. When he was jsut sitting. He was seriously KO'ed. I jsut hope he won't retire, and take this as a sign to strive to get better, and fight different opponents this time. I want more opponents for Manny, and Morales himself.

This whole Filipino-Mexican thing has gone so far already. XD Almost every fight for the Philippines is against Mexico. C'mon Manny! Get those Americans! KEKEKE!! 8D

I do know that the American audience are already amused by him, and the way he fights. Heck, American boxers think highly of him as well.

And grammar doesn't really matter in sports.

I mean, look at our Billiard players! When I saw them at the hotel, they were all so care-free. And they're still frikkin' briliant.
