Discussion Plot-holes in One Piece

Since, unlike other mangas, One Piece doesn't have too many errors in the storyline, it shouldn't be hard to list all flaws.

Moriah's zombies: during the battle in Marineford, Moriah took the shadows of several marines to place in buried zombies. However the marines whose shadows were taken didn't die in the sunlight as expected. Plus it was early estabilished that his devil fruit doesn't create zombies, but these bodies are made by Hogback, while they were standing on the sea frozen by Aokiji (also the salt in the water would purify the zombies).

Chopper rumble ball: In chapter 605 Chopper ate a rumble ball to transform in guard point. However it was later estabilished that he doesn't require a rumble ball anymore to transform, except for monster point.

Hogback probably improved the bodies, so it may work with dead bodies still?

The CP9 is a super secret group of assassins who masterd the rokushiki. A technique that isn't that common in One Piece. (Except for Soru.) Before we knew about the CP0 there were called the strongest Cipher Pol if I remember correctly.
So.. why in the world couldn't they use even the basics of haki? It makes no sense. Of course it would have been way to overpowerd if they used haki and rokushiki against the strawhats but what did they do when they had to fight a logia? It kinda bothers me.

They may have used haki to some degree, it's just that Oda didn't implement the black depiction of haki before the time skip. Strong as they were, only Lucci was somewhere near the skillset of a vice-admiral and only those seem to be proficient within the ranks of marines as that one doc explained Coby after the war.

After Marco was handcuffed by a vice admiral, Kizaru didn't finish him off, I mean he was #2 right? Why didn't Kizaru send a beam at Marco forehead to deplete the second most powerful fighter after WB. Aokiji didn't break the ice (Jozu) either.

Small remark: DD could free himself after being frozen but Jozu couldn't do that, did Aokiji go easy on DD? Or DD > Jozu without any doubt?

Moria's devil fruit gives him the ability to bring dead bodies back to life by giving them a shadow. During the war, the zombies that he used were just bodies of dead marines and pirates. I'm guessing they were made to look like zombies, so we could tell they're actually moving-dead.

Seems Doflamingo > Jozu.

Plus, this is shounen. Oda's not gonna have people killed, even if it makes sense to. The deaths will either be rare or in a flashback.

It probably has something to do with Aokiji's touch. He touched Jozu, but he never touched Doflamingo. He froze him from a distance.

It wasn't explained how Doflamingo did that. But it doesn't seems to be something you can do with just Haki, since Whitebeard used vibration to break the ice.

It probably has something to do with Doflamingo Devil Fruit. Maybe he somehow broke the ice with his string... or maybe it has something to do with him surviving being beheaded in recent chapters.

It was said that the current CP9 is the strongest CP9 in history, but it was never said to be the strongest CP.

It was only after the time-skip that we have seen Haki making the skin darker, despite we seeing Haki being used multiple times. So we don't know for sure if CP9 used it or not. Not to mention that Crocodile probably knows Haki well enough despite not using it before.

Remember when Mantra was revealed to be CoO? Don't be surprised if it is revealed that Rokushiki is just another name for CoA. If i had to try to explain it....

haki is inherent , yes you can train to make it stronger
but you dont really learn it, you basically polish and maximize your inherited will power

Tekai saru and jeppo (something like that)
Are technique based acquired skills, like some advanced form of martial arts techniques

so one can use both, but they are not one in the same, and i imagine if someone had to spend a ton of time training to learn the techniques, they either did so because their haki potential wasnt very high, so they instead sought strength via another route

or they simply didnt have time or didnt have a goos teacher (like raliegh or the kuja tribe)

Oda said so in an sbs it seems. He said that he wanted the power levels to be clear for the people. So he drew whitebeard and other characters bigger.

Don't be surprised if it is revealed that Rokushiki is just another name for CoA. There have been many hints of that: Rokushiki can damage Devil Fruit users; Tekkai is very similar to CoA Hardening; Sentomaru using physical attacks from distance like CP9; many characters said to use Haki are seen using Rokushiki techniques, such as Vice-Admirals or Sanji.

Rokushiki is not Color of Armament, it's a combat style, which might have some haki incorparated into it due to formidable strong characters that have lot's of experience.

Geppo is clearly no haki technique, Soru is using speed, Kami-e is controling the body, Rankyaku is using speed and is therefore using the physical formula of force being mass multiplied by acceleration.

Depicting characters as big highlights their importance, but it doesn't represent their strength, as there are enough normal sized characters to show that they don't need to be big to be strong.
