But reading all of this it feels more like you are simply saying that you dislike the character. I don't really care if you like him or not. All I was saying is that his character got fleshed out during these arcs.

And to me it feels like you interpreted the information so that it fits your opinion, and not build your opinion based on the information that is provided. But it doesn't really matter, does it?
So let's just agree to disagree.

I never really had issues with tog, Siu always write characters as grounded as possible, sure the world building and the powers are grand full of mystery, but the interactions and thought process is grounded, people want when a irregular shows up everyone else should just wait to die while going on about awesome they are and all irregular should act like know it all and genocidal maniacs that kills you if you look at them wrong with a thought just generic stuff, I like the grounded interaction between characters and bits of comedy outside the constant murder, didn't see what wrong with the wars lots of fodder dies and the commander and general are ok atleast the important ones grounded.

fug for example they get a viewed as incompetent for treating bam the they way they did, no one in the story need to kiss up to bam or any irregular it's ok to hate them or want to fight them, that what make tog good people always rebel against the odds, plus it's makes sense cause bam is not urek and he was never gonna go willingly even though he is weak, sure he is an irregular but not like he was showing A class regular abilities from the beginning, he just had alot of potential and fug is a big organization with alot of factions that probably hate irregulars in general, and some believe him to be their god from the start, the leader of fug wants bam to make his own choices and not baby sit him, which is good for bam growth and fug never harmed bam friends, let him do whatever he wanted and taught him advanced techniques beyond most rankers and high rankers, more believable than everyone in fug kissing the feet of random weak kid barely different from regular at the time, this is why story like solo leveling ended so quickly cause mc is already beyond everyone so quickly that it becomes pointless.

Trau marriage competition is good and smart play, because taking bam by force is gonna cause a bigger rift immediately, some of the FH are in favor of bam or leaving him alone to climb, that should be half or more, so with bam "consent" and his father figure ha jinsung as witness, the other FH including zahard can't do anything to interfere directly, only thing I'm unclear of is how trau really feels about bam, those nightmares are the key might be cliche but trau might be on bam side, if was against him just capture/kill bam outright instead of testing him zahard looked surprised by it, they were ready for a war anyway another FH joining it's more fodder dying so trau just looking for an excuse to hold on to bam, kinda similar to gustang could have taken bam by force before and now he wants to act suddenly, guess it depends on circumstances some light Politics.

Welp, traumerei's "nightmares" probably pertain to some extent to V and arlen. It'd explain why bam would trigger them and given the family heads' attitudes so far it must take quite a bit for them to feel remorse. To family heads tower residents are pretty much NPCs, they aren't people. They could subject tower residents to the most awful things imaginable and they wouldn't lose sleep over it. But at least traumerei does see other family heads and maybe bam as actual people. It simply tracks that within the tower traumerei's remorse and nightmares would originate from events concerning real humans.

Reread the series recently starting from the FoD arc and it became pretty clear that S3 doesn't hold a candle to S1 and S2. Overall it's just average, but starting from the Cat Tower arc it gets a lot better. Definitely above average.

Reading the chapters without having to wait changed certain things for me(I ended up liking the Wang Wang flashback more) but the way SIU was switching POVs was still really infuriating.

I find the current arc(how do we even call it? Lo Po Bia VS Po Bidau arc?) really solid so far and I hope it'll stay that way.

S3 is at its best right now IMO.

I loved Baam VS White. Also you can't tell me any of these fights were worse than Matt Ha VS Zam Zam :neutral.

Baam vs White is easily the worst fight in the series imo.

How come no one cried when Bam and Hockney helped Urek defeat HJ!?!?!?!

If permitted, Bam would had eventually overwhelmed White and taken the power but Bam did not have all day, there was a game going on!!! He never would had made it in time to jump into the suspendium and he probably would had been KO’d much longer taking all the power LOL
