Discussion Predict Eduan's Shinsoo Attributes Thread

Hello folks, I am giving hell amount of choices (and all in reasonable states). Let's see how many of them Eduan will have

My guess is Redan, Electricity, Ice, Physical Enhancement, Target Seeker, and most probably aerial phenomena.

Could be Wind too. Eurasia apparently have that attribute but we already know three Hwayeomsa among the FHs... Wind also goes well with lightning.

By the way, I voted Target Seeker because, even if we generally see spear bearers having a good tag team with light bearers to track down enemy and hit, Eduan was said to be best tag with Hendo Lok Bloodmadder who is defensive, so I felt mostly agressive but also accurate attack style from Eduan.

I don't expect eduan to have reinforcement as an attribute (which is different from him not being able to use reinforcement). Eduan probably has something that functions similarly to redan but is simply better though. I do think his attributes will be roughly sky inspired. Which is not to say he will have a sky attribute. But something like a combination of his electricity, lightning spear, ice spear combined with wind or cloud attribute.

Electricity is capable to make fire(burn) so could be also one of his abilities

It would be more accurate to say that the highest form of fire -> plasma state is just electrons roaming freely, hence an obvious hint at their similarity.

How do you explain plant attribute on Eduan? I would rather see it as a counter to electricity when plant is grounded, and why Ice is maybe, was not it canon that from the Data Floor, by his own words, he had that attribute?

i can say plant cause all spells are almost plants and plant based
look at immortality ? when admin appeared ? there was some kind of plant that took traumereis contract back
look at luslec ? he uses plant spells so all gws at least can use spells it means that they all can have ability to use plants or manipulate them

thats how i see eduan having some kind of plant manipulation

Plant attributes apparently/may exist but it'd be weird for a family head to have one IMO (yuri/dowon). Plants seem a bit special in that they apparently are the origin of humanity in the tower (and perhaps other creatures as well). So it sort of makes sense some humans may have inherited power from this. But family heads do not come from plants, they come from the outside. It's possible of course that a family head could have received power from a plant but it'd be weird if eduan, who is naturally gifted with multiple very strong attributes, would have gotten this.

Something came to my mind while thinking how Eduan can possibly have poison attribute in shinsoo.

Can we do redan pill to let the opponent eat it, and after tanking the opponent's redan status, just spear bear to him to easily kill? Maybe Hendo and Eduan worked like this if this is so.

Koon AA played with an enemy using his flame fish in this way, too, during the dog arc.

Well I think it would be sth that matches with the color blue. If you look at GWs attributes or rather irregulars attributes, we have Night's black shinsu which is related to black or night theme he has. Same for Edahn, ice, lightning, blue in theme. Rei, life which usually are represented by green colour. Gussy orange, flame and so on. So I believe would be water. I don't think it's stated all attributes needs to be rare type.

I feel like this thread sort of assumes that anything a fighter does in a shinsoo attribute. Though I'd stress there's no clearly defined line between normal shinsoo techniques and shinsoo attributes. Nor anything that says that lacking an attribute means you can't develop techniques that seem similar to an attribute (with far more work and far less benefit).

My guess is that he infused his spear with his shinsoo or shinwonryu so he just throwed it and then teleported himself to the spear's place later, in this spinoff Ch. 39. In other words, his shinsoo may let himself teleport to different places.

Yes but not everything is a shinsoo attribute. Even rankers accumulate hundreds of techniques over time and for all we know some don't even have shinsoo attributes.

@arrowofsky So Eduan throws his spear, bypassing whatever glitch was protecting the castle. The Khun family members who arrived described it as similar to a spell. Perhaps Eduan used a mini shinwonryuu on his spear. So our theory that Shinwonryuu can counter spells and shiny ones' abilities may be correct, as spells, like all shiny ones' abilities, originate from outside the tower. As I've mentioned numerous times, this is the inner tower, and FHs are its gods.


I also mentioned in some other thread that I expect Eduan Shinwonryuu to be something like Zeus' lightning bolt, which he can throw like a spear bearer. That theory may also come true, as we saw when he threw the spear to enter the castle and break the spell or whatever was cast on it.

Depends on what you are using. Some technique are pure Shinsoo Manipulation techniques. Before Baam learned how to use an Orb, he was mostly doing this. If your Shinsoo has elemental properties though, you are definitely using an attribute because everyone can't do it naturally.

Sorry I missed this reply. I did not actually mean it that way. What I stressed was that we saw some shinsoo attributes from Eduan in Data Floor, and we know that current Eduan has much more attributes, so some may be dormant innate things of his shinsoo, while other ones might be trained out, like Traumerei's 2D, then 3D disconnections. Other things can also be done without shinsoo, but in this thread I aimed to focus directly on what current Eduan's shinsoo has as attributes.
