Feedback Problems with the site?

I had this issue with users complaining about it on my board. I ultimately found the solution that fixed everybody was to 301 redirect profile.php to forums/profile.php.

Yeah I found that out too and put the redirect to that as well^^ but just as safe measure shouted it too .

To fix this DST issue I *had* to open IE and use that to change my profile's DST setting to "ON". I imagine "OFF" will also work, but the automatic one will constantly redirect you to a blank page. It now works fine in FF. I feel sorry for the people who have not yet figured out trying IE though. I suppose they will catch up.

time and date problem in the site

hi, i don't really know where to post this. i hope this is the right forum section. if not, then please accept my humblest apology.

while i was browsing around the boards after the change in layout and perhaps, settings, i observed that some thread had posts which was dated march 5, 2008. the weird part is that i am in the philippines and the date now here is just march 4, 2008.

i checked my personal settings and it was set correctly that time will be +8 singapore time. so i have no problem there.

i hope someone can shed light on this observation and forgive me if some might classify it as fickle observation.

Hey CinderFury, I think your problem is because some people are in time zones earlier in yours, so as in +9 or +10, so that's why some posts may show to be posted in the future. Hope that helps!!!

The Philippines' timezone is GMT+8. GMT+13 hasn't reached March 5, 2008 yet.

hatsuharupeace i am aware that some of the members in this forum are in different time zones. but theoretically, the time zone of the other members will be adjusted depending on my timezone which i have set as +8 hours.

same here, I'm having the same problem I log in go to post replying to someones Else's post after completing I go to post my reply it asks me to log in again which I do but my post disappears and I'm on the front page, I'm not logged in and my post has disappeared. help please ( not always 2 out of 5 posts which is annoying now)

hmmm try clearing your cookies... and then see how that works...

when I log on to MH I dont see the front page.. well I do but its not organized like it was a few days ago. its as though the html everywhere.. I dont know if anyone else has this problem but I dont know how to fix it I dont think its my isp,

Upon review it seems that i only have a problem viewing MH in firefox and not explorer..

the new look is well new, the only problem i have with it is navigating is alot harder. The old site compared to this one seemed much more organized where finding things was much easier. I've also always thought that navigation was one of the strong points for mangahelpers, but its well different now.

Actually, the left navigation is already being put up at the top, under the banner. The options there are just the same with the old one.

And actually putting it at the top is easier to reach. Just press [Home] on your keyboard, and you'll be brought up to the top instantly, and you can see everything. While the previous left menu, there are some menus that requires you to scroll down a bit.

OK, I´ve got a problem;

I cant access the site.

Right URL, yes. Firefox don´t want to, neither do IE, BUT, this is only a problem at home!
In school i can access (without problems) and I run firefox there to, no difference in links/mods/anything.

In school we work with a proxy, but not at home. I´m not alone as some of my friends can´t get here either.
Does you´re server hate Swedish IPs that doesn´t go throug proxy? O_o

And;

How I accessed this site now? Throug "hidemyass.com", a function that uses a proxy...Connection?

Right now there is a range of ips blocked from accessing because of Denial of Service attacks on the server we're on... Our host is working on the problem and doing his best to narrow it down to restore access for those who don't have anything to do with the DoS attacks.

I got a problem....I was testing out new color schemes for the forums, but i ended up choosing Fuzzy Remix again. Only now the color for the usergroups are messed up. i.e. all translators are now pink...globals are like dirty brown/green.

Anyone know how to fix this or whats up?

Edit: Just realized something else. It seems all my interface is different from everyone else's I think its the Light theme's interface...Is there anyway that the Light and Fuzzy Remix got overlapped and now are both showing some parts of the scheme?
