Feedback Problems with the site?

Your post count probably dropped because of the Toshokan cleaning yesterday. We deleted 5 pages of threads, so yeah~ >.>


For the theme, go to the very bottom of the page and there should be a dropdown menu towards the left. That's where you can change your display theme.

As far as the attachments I'm not sure. Sorry >.>

The attachment settings weren't set up initially. I upped the limit to 500KB. (You shouldn't really be posting anything larger than that as an attachment. ) If you really need to post something that's larger, you can upload it to a hosting client. ^^;;

Why you press the "reply" button it's just like posting a quick reply. If you want to see the smileys you gotta click on "quote" or "post reply" which is at the bottom left of the last post on the page.

HOpe that helps. If not, ask the mods.

Well I don't know in this case. The smileys should be at the bottom of the box.

Even though I think it's not going to work. My best guess would be to go on your User CP.
Go on Edit Options>Miscellinious options and then try to change the interface. If nothing happens, you could send a pm to one of the admins such as winterlion or njt.

finally i figured out that zonealarm has been preventing packets from this site so it doesnt load to the fullest... whew it's all good now

I can't find quick reply fitur everytime when i'd open this site (in every thread).. i even refresh a billion times to open that fitur but, thats doesn't work... and one more, every page that i'd opened it, thats not 100% opened. it still contain with coding and stop at middle of the page.. I
s there still maintanence in this forum, coz you guys, movin from SMF to Vbulletin? I hope this condition has conclusion ASAP... *Mukyaaaaaaa*

it's got something to do with ad blocking the site. my zonealarm firewall blocks the ads from mangahelpers so it doesnt load completely too. im guessing the site relies on simultaneous packets from the ads and the site (sounds cool but i dont know what im talking about). anyway just disable any ad/popup blocking apps you have or allow mangahelpers to show ads/popups and it should work.

Yeah the site is still in the process of being moved... right now we are *partly* through it.

Normally it wouldn't take this long, but every time we tried to set up a new machine there was something wrong with it, that required new parts which made us wait another day. Now it's a problem with a load balancer that we have to wait to have recoded. Seriously not the best of days for MH

things *should* be all peachy by the start of next week *crosses fingers*

I really hate to complain about little things but...
In the old forum on the front page I had the option to select a color theme in my personal menu and then that color theme would stay and it would be the default every time I logged in.

But here I cannot pick a color theme from the front page because that option is not included in the personal menu; it can only be found on the very bottom of the actual forum pages. Also, I cannot seem to find a way to make the theme I want become the default for when I log on.

Hmm,

About the new format of the forum interface.

Before, it was that the options on the left of the screen [thumbs/links/etc] can always be seen but now, the whole screen becomes the forum. Will this be a permanent change?

I've been having trouble adjusting to it since I'm very much used to just browsing through the forums by using those links on the once-existing left side bar whenever I roam around. But now, I have to go click the "mangahelpers" back link at the top of a page every time and then be transported to a long list of ALL the forum and sub-forums and sub-divisions, etc. And what's more is that when you choose to hide the options, the site then looks very empty and dull.

It may be so that this is a good way to save bandwidth so it was implemented or just an accident, anyways, IMO, the site isn't quite the same and the new changes on the interface are very inconvenient and unaesthetic o_o

HELLO EVERYONE!! LONG TIME NO SEE!! I'm really quite amazed at the new look for MH. I'm pretty sure I've missed a lot.

As much as I like the new look, there was this really one important feature that I really liked, and that was the "Check for new replies" link for any forum we've posted. Too bad there isn't one here, I would really love to directly check if the forum I posted in has any updates or not without registering into the CP. Well anyways, looks like I have to go through this new system then. It's still good!

You can subscribe to threads now and use: "Quick Links -> Subscribed Threads"
It's practically the same feature as the "Check for new replies" but now you can set by yourself wether you want to subscribe automatically when posting something or just subscribe manual each interessting thread. You can also subscribe to a whole child forum and sort your subscriptions into folders. Check out your User CP.

I posted a question in the Inquiries thread, but it looks like no one is going to answer me. I still can't access the site through normal means. I have to go through kickadmin.com which is incredibly annoying because of pop-ups and the inability to open spoilers.

So, anyone know why your site refuses to let my computer access the forum?
