i upload a picture 100by100pixels only 7KB,
but when i clicked "Save Changes" , "vBulletin Message" comes up saying "Upload of file failed." i tried it a couple of times but it always the same result.
Can someone help me out?
Having a file size of 100 x 100 and only 7kb should not cause a problem.
Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 125 by 125 pixels or 50.0 KB (whichever is smaller).
Since that is well under the limit. I wonder if to could be due to a connection problem where the image did not get uploaded correctly.
Which internet browser are you using currently, when this happens.
Can you clear all the internet cache and try to upload the file again?
If that does not work, can you share the image and I'll see If I can add it manually.
so when i post something, on the left there's actually a picture above "Join Date" just that i couldn't see? (all users are like this?)
What is shown on your profile page is the called
Use Profile Picture , which is not the same as the "avatar".
The avatar picture, once you have it uploaded, should show up on all posts but for your account it says you do not have one uploaded.

Edit - I did a test upload and added the same picture from your profile to your Avatar setting.
Just to see if there was an issue with an avatar being uploaded.
The result is successful, you should see an avatar for your posts.
Now try to see if you can replace that with a new one from the settings.
Let us know of the results.
