I think it'll get a series, not sure. Tbh though, it was rather meh to me. Felt really cliche.

And I agree it's different to what I'm used to from this franchise but I got into it especially with the fight at the end. I would love to see where they take the concept.

I'm always drawn to characters with complex back stories. I mean the circumstances of her birth and what she is it's pretty cool.

As for her series do you mean Prisma something? I'm not into magical girls that names don't start with "sailor" but I'm willing to give it a chance

Same, I like Illya's backstory a lot. It's really tragic how she ended up dying in UBW but at least Hercules was with her till the end. :emocat

She's also going to be a main character in Heavens Feel and that's supposedly darker than Zero (rip our feelings then).

I heard that later on it introduces a lot of interesting characters like Vlad, Karna, Scathach, Nero etc. I didn't really like it but of course I'm going to be open minded for the continuations. You never know with the Fate series.

Apocrypha is due to come out sometime in July and Extra around January 2018. Can't say much for Apocrypha since I don't know much about it but Extra has some insane hype around it lol, according to many people who've played the Extra game, its story is on par with / better than Zero's and it has more of a 'seinen-esque' feeling whereas UBW had that shonen aspect here and there. Although with Grand Order, Apocrypha and Heaven's Feel all in the same year, it seems its the Fated year. :kappa

The Fate franchise is huge. I just hope they keep up the quality because like you said releasing so many in such a short time could have a rushed aspect. But I will definitely check them all out.

Nah, it won't. All 3 of them are being done by different studios. Apocrypha by A-1 Pictures, Heaven's Feel trilogy by UFOtable and Extra by SHAFT. Worried with how A-1 will handle Apocrypha although I'm certain Extra will be good mainly because Extra supposedly has a good deal of character development and internal thoughts / monologues / dialogues etc and SHAFT is good with portraying that kind of stuff, since they've done it before with Bakemonogatari and few others. As for UFOtable, you already know they're a great studio. :XD
