I said King is stronger than regular Mel, not Demon Mel. I doubt he is stronger than demon Mel, but he might also have a powered up version too that puts him at the same level as demon Mel. Like 'winged-Harlequin' or something. I can't say for certain, but I'm pretty sure he is at least one of the 3 strongest sins. That might just be me though.
He's not stronger than regular Meliodas, his last feat was impressive but it was a desperate attack he could use for a few seconds because he was outmatched, a fight against Meliodas would not be like that.

arguable. Meliodas's base power level is not too high above the minimum for a sin. And I can think of various ways for King to find a way around Meliodas's abilities and vice versa.

1)Meliodas
2)Escanor
3)Merlin
4)King
5)Ban
6)Diane
7)Gowther

That's it for me. And that's based on what we know. Gowther could have different forms etc. so we can't really be sure. Also, I wouldn't like to get into the base power levels so I am counting them as a whole, based on what we know of course. If I had to however, I'd say that it's quite plausible for King to be > than Base Meliodas.

Yeah but PLs are not everything, if we try to discuss about ways for each Sins to beat each other we can find plenty but Meliodas is acknowledged as the strongest so King can't win against him one on one. No one has been more impressive than Meliodas, King's recent attack was good but that's something he could do for a few seconds before collapsing.

I was referring to the part where you said he might have been stringer than demon Mel although king and regular Mel is equally debatable as well. King will need his release (the one used against albion). Thing is, Mel could evade it or trick him with a clone.
Well king also strikes me as one of the strongest. Mel and Escanor obviously occupy the top 2 spots. The 3rd spot is between king and Merlin and debatable who is stronger. Even if King used Chastefiol's release, Merlin could possibly just teleport it away so I lean towards Merlin being 3rd and King 4th for now.

To be honest I could see regular king besting regular mel. King has the superior skillset. Fullcounter is powerful but provided king does not use sunflower then fullcounter is useless. As far as the boosts they have shown mel seems to be able to hold his own for a longer period but he also has trouble controlling it altogether. In the end if it comes to a face of between using using his chastiefol release and mel using his power of darkness I would go for king though. King has the stronger power level and ultimately both attacks are meant to be one shot nukes. The best case for meliodas would be mutual extermination.

Higher power level? King is strong but I don't see how he could beat Meliodas, it's not like all Meliodas could use was Full Counter, he's extremely durable and agile, has his clones and Hellblaze, I can't see how King would be able to put him down and unlike Merlin he has no Teleportation or something similar.

King should be able to counter Hellblaze with Sunflower or simply move out the way. And King too is extremely durable and agile. And he can fly, giving him a spacial advantage. As for teleporting, he might not be able to teleport other things, but he seems to be able to teleport himself over short distances. That or his speed surpasses even Ban and Mel by far, as seen here

Plus, so far it seems that full counter only works against blastlike attacks, so he may not be able counter King hitting him with full force with Chastiefol's spear form, or worse, guardian, which even immobilized Ban, and still works for attacks. The clones could help Meliodas out, but King could easily keep them occupied, or even destroy them with increase. On the other hand, if King messes up and lets Chastiefol get hit by hellblaze, it might get destroyed, leaving King at a huge disadvantage, unless he uses Disaster or something. Like I said, both could find ways to beat each other.

Dunno about Escanor, the fact that he is pretty weak at night, leaves him very vulnerable for a long period of time. At daytime he is the 2nd strongest, but overall... Eh. As for a battle between Merlin and King, yeah, I think King would lose because he is mostly a magical being. So unless he finds a way to overpower her by A LOT he may be rendered defensless against her with Absolute Cancel. Though the his last battle hinted that he might have a chance. As for telepoting release away, I think she would not be able to cast that spell quickly enough before becoming dust particles.

Well at night he is the weakest, that was already confirmed. Merlin should be able to teleport Chastefiol before being hit. Her range covers several miles and she literally just needs to snap her fingers. She can equally teleport chastefiol at any other time before the release. Plus she has perfect cube which can block most of his attacks. Absolute cancel can also probably revert chastefiol to its base form each time he uses the different stages/level.

Well, in the ultimate forms they have shown so far king seems to be the stronger one by a decent bit, at least enough to be relevant. The clones are a non issue here. Their relevance comes from fullcounter working equally well for some reason regardless of PL. However the clones themselves, even if he only uses one at half power, would be fodder. And most of king's techniques can't be full countered, its only sunflower that has that small issue. So king fights at a range, has a variety of techniques and his top PL is higher than mel's. Hellblaze is the only technique that meliodas has shown that would be really dangerous to king and his divine slayer the only technique that really deals with the range issue. Even then though, to me they look at worst even in the fight...Now, if meliodas ever regains the power he probably had in the past then he will probably be miles ahead of king.

I would love to see King use cube zero, since he definitely has the magic power to do so. Though perfect cube is actually not that great. If youre inside, waiting should be enough to take advantage of it. Once the caster is too exhausted to keep it up, the person inside could easily take the chance to strike.

I actually meant that she uses it as defence. If galan didn't fancy his changes breaking the cube, then it is extremely formidable as defense. Proof of that is Liz and Arthur remaining unscathed after all that happened in the fight.

Yes, it's great as a defense, but the caster wouldnt be able to use any attacks.

She can use it when a dangerous attack is incoming and dispel it afterwards. She also has her normal barriers which are powerful enough to resist 3 punches from albion even though she used it on a city and so it was stretched out and thin.

The only Magic proven superior to Hellblaze is Escanor's Sunshine, King's Sunflower can't be above Hellblaze. King's durability doesn't compare to Meliodas, he can't teleport and he is not much faster than the other Sins(not counting Diane), Ban is the fastest and they can all keep up with each others when they are running(again not counting Diane) unlike Helbram who was outmatched during when he challenged him. He can't reflect True Chastiefol indeed, but I was not taking this into account when I said base PL, it's an ability he could use only for an instant.

We are using base PL, King's last attack against Albion was not his base PL and he collapsed immediately after using it. The clones are not useful only for Full Counter, he can use them for faints and other things, and they are not slow considering what he could do against Galan. Meliodas doesn't need Hellbalze to injure him greatly, his sword slashes or simple normal physical attacks are enough for that. Even if we consider that both use their full power from what we have seen so far, there's no way his True Chastiefol could kill him even if Meliodas is hit, he's not as weak as Albion.

Mostly the same as people said before but I decided to put King above Merlin simply because he should be stronger, generally speaking. He is after all the Fairy King, not just the leader of a nation but an entire race. Merlin may be the greatest magician in all Britannia but at the end of the day I think King is the bigger threat and more powerful, especially when he actually uses his true power. Who knows what else he had in his arsenal. But I will admit Merlin is more dangerous on your typical day.

Well, yeah but you brought up the clones. If meliodas is allowed to use his sacred treasure ability then king should to. I am not sure if what we saw against galan counts as a feat for the clones. They didn't seem to even succeed at distracting him. The clones have a PL of 420, that is pretty close to the lowest level of holy knight around. With a mere 420 I doubt it makes a difference to them whether the enemy has 3000 or 26000 PL. And king has the means to defend from multiple enemies with his chastiefol. But then again the fair situation would be that neither clones nor true chastiefol are a thing in this battle.

The true chastiefol didn't barely kill the albion or anything of the sort, it was basically an overkill as far as we saw. King's PL doubles that of an albion and his true chastiefol works basically like a nuke. The implication so far is that king at that stage has even more power than mel using the darkness power. I am not sure of how mel would survive that. And even if he does survive at the moment it seems unlikely he would be able to continue fighting. Back in the day just helbram backed up by the holy knights was able to render meliodas in that form unconscious.

I don't see how it's unfair.I don't think Physical Clone and his Release are similar to being with, unlike King, Meliodas was without his ST all this time, he can use his clones casually, the same way King uses Bumblebee etc, but this Release was clearly exceptional. The clones could not distract him but they managed to hit him, you have to take into account that Galan is much stronger than the Sins, has more experience and his Spirit level is extremely high. The Sins would not be able to deal with Mel's attacks as well as him and King can be injured by the sword attacks from the clones.

There are not enough informations on this true form, I don't think it works as a nuke, for me it's just a big spear with tremendous Magic power, it was overkill indeed but it's because King's PL was almost the double of Albion. Demon Meliodas from the Byzel arc doesn't compare to base Meliodas or the other Sins as of now, and his power was still growing. At base Meliodas could fight with three GHK level fighters, took an insane amount of damage and is very strong physically.

when I said King is fast, I meant when he flies. He has been shown to be faster than Ban that way on multiple ocasions. And when you deny something I have shown you evidence of, at least try to prove me wrong. And like I said, King could easily dodge that. Mel wouldn't be able to even lay a finger on King, let alone punch him, since King can just fly up. And King can easily defend himself from Mel's slashes. Also I never said anything about true chastiefol. And Kings durability has been the most impressive one so far.

The issue is not them being similar, the issue is whether sacred treasure abilities are allowed or not. I don't see why meliodas would be allowed a gimmick but not the same for king. It seems unfair. But then again its unlikely the clones would be that much of an asset...

Even if its not a nuke it basically worked like that. What meliodas did against those 3 HKs is presumably what other sins would be able to do. King took on helbram while powered up by over 10 HKs and then overpowered the full blunt raw power they had when helbram forced them to send him their power. Even if he took half their power its enough to easily best the 3000 number which is the bare minimum for the sins...
