Discussion Rescaling the hidden floor bug problem and slight inconsistency with the current timeline.

From the new timeline -


A powerless Urek came in already as strong as a high ranker casually in pure stats by floor 2.


With him also being potentially scaling to regent tier or above depending on how strong a newly awakened and most likely weakened Mago will be.



Then how low must the mirror's limits be for it to create a copy far weaker than a powerless Urek who just entered the Tower at floor 2?



The bug makes no sense for it to make Urek's sworn enemy that damn weak.


Can the mirror not copy a High Ranker's power at least as it's limit?


I'm not expecting it to be able to copy regent tier power cause it wouldn't be crazy but also wouldn't be surprised if it actually could.


But still a high ranker? Even those on the lowest ends? It couldn't do that?



Or did it actually copy a High Ranker's power and Urek lied about being so weak cause his feats doesn't make sense for how weak he claims himself to be.



He displayed much greater speed feats than friggin Edhuan, like levels beyond in terms of feats which gave TOG it's first actual potential light speed feat or relativistic at worst



Him breaking Zahard's metal extensions also make even way little sense for how weak he's supposed to be cause neither Edhuan nor Data Zahard could make a scratch on Adult Data Zahard with their attacks combined.


Like look at this stuff.

Makes little sense no matter how I see it.

Maybe Urek was probably far above regent level in the hidden floor? Because imo there is only like a 20 year difference between when he reached the hidden floor and his fight with arie hon. Plus Urek most likely experienced a majority of his growth in the first 30ish floors like everyone else in the series. So floor 100 urek is not hundreds of times stronger than hidden floor urek imo. More like 10 times stronger.

Maybe Urek was probably far above regent level in the hidden floor? Because imo there is only like a 20 year difference between when he reached the hidden floor and his fight with arie hon. Plus Urek most likely experienced a majority of his growth in the first 30ish floors like everyone else in the series. So floor 100 urek is not hundreds of times stronger than hidden floor urek imo. More like 10 times stronger.

There's even a strong possibility he's already above it now at current in his powerless state.


But the real Urek's strength wasn't really my main point, my problem is with the sworn enemy Data and it's feats not lining up with his statement.


He said he was way weaker than Zahard now and is just a kid, but yet his speed feat is the highest out of any data or person on that floor by far.



His strength is also a feat that should be impossible for someone who claims himself weaker than Data Zahard who couldn't come close to achieving the same even with Edhuan combined.

It’s probably just Urek’s personality. I’ve heard you say it many times also, Urek likes to over-exaggerate and be dramatic when it comes to his opponents. He acted like he was helpless in the floor of death without shinsoo, he acted like the revs boss would give him a challenge, etc. He probably does that to keep his mental state focused so he doesn’t underestimate anyone.

Urek constantly overestimates everyone in some form or the other.


Never thought about it before but Urek is a bit of an unreliable narrator for someone so damn strong but yet not in the way it usually goes with unreliable narrators in fiction.
