Re: Reopened but I don't expect questions at all :p

How was NYC? Forgive me if you told everyone else about it, but I've sort of been in and out for lack of a better term. I completely forgot about your visit in November and might have actually been able to go up there due to circumstances I wasn't made aware of in time....damnit
Sorry I didn't see your post. And no worries, NYC has convinced me to return (might be I'll go elswhere in the USA).

As for how it was: it was really awesome. The first 15 minutes I was looking more to how high the buildings were than watching the people around it. We have done a lot: musea, New York knicks, Hooters, Ellis Islands, etc, etc

Maybe it's because we were in Manhattan but I felt safer in NYC than in Brussels. There were a lot of cops. But I assume Harlem and the bronx where we didn't go to, are completely different.

As for the people, I like the people. They are somehow very friendly and even more when they know you're from Europe and seem to be interested. What I like about Americans is how flexible you are.

The only american I didn't like, was my border control agent. Man, did he have a bad day. He and everyone else were friendly until it was my turn: what an agressive arrogance towards me. It'll probably my face :)

@aki:I'll answer your later on. The pc I'm on sucks

^ You were ignored :lmao

The new Darker than Black season is good, you will like it.

What anime in the Spring are you looking forward to the most?
Where is your happy place that you go to in your mind?
Have any pet peeves?
I haven't checked the anime spring releases but since last spring, summer, autumn and winter had been utterly dissapointing, I am avoiding high expectations

I don't have happy place, but every place where the people around me are happy, is a happy place

One cat, I'll see if I can find a picture tomorrow

Sorry Koen, maar je maakte een kleine fout daar. :p

I was going to tell you what a pet peeve was but Xadyu took care if that for me.
Not many people outside the U.S. knows what that phrase means.
I still want to see that cat you have. +25 points in my book <3

You mean your Customs Agent?

There are some places in Manhattan that are not really safe actually, but most of the touristy places are all on the lower half of the Island so it isn't that bad. Harlem is technically a part of Manhattan, so that sort of proves my point >_>

All five boroughs have good and bad spots really.

Re: So what will it be: ju ju or dju dju?

Interesting name for the title :D.

I am sad Koen. Well, Justine lost :(. Though, I will give her the credit for performing so well. Those who play Tennis or understand sports, will agree with me that staying out of competition/International Tennis so long and playing a grandslam final itself is an achievement. Won't you agree, she has a very good chance of winning Roland Garros.

Re: So what will it be: ju ju or dju dju?

For the curious people, the thread title is a word play:

Basically, Belgians are always rooting for justine henin with ju ju -> as you can see her name starts with a ju(stine). Basically we say: come on (komaan, allez) ju ju

but dju dju, is also a way of cursing (like in english: crap, shit, etc) in Flemish Dutch dialects we say dju (or dedju).

So during this finals justine was the ju ju and serena was the dju dju :)

Well, I was happy that she was immediately playing the finals. Of course, losing against Serena Williams isn't that bad knowing Serena's qualities and palmares. However, Ju's first serve was very awful as was her toss when she was serving. I think that was the difference to win or to lose this game/finals.

Roland Garros is her favorite tournament and underground. She'll win that one. She can only lose against herself

Re: After the Aussies dju dju

Along with Post #305 here are some more questions.

If there is a Psyren anime who do you want the voice actors for Ageha and Amamiya to be?
Do you have a favorite studio you want to see do a Psyren anime?
How many episodes in total would be best?

Mag ik hier ook nederlands tegen jou praten? :o Waarschijnlijk niet he? :p

So, besides tennis, what other sports do you enjoy to play/watch?

I don't know a lot of voice actors by name but I'll give you a character of an anime and then you:
ageha -> seiyuu of araragi in bakemonogatari
amamiya -> seiyuu of yin in Darker than black

I wouldn't know but from the generic shounen series I have watched, I'd rather want the bleach or one piece anime studio doing it

On going and following the manga. I hate anime with an own ending. I stopped watching soul eater for that reason. 1 exception: FMA imo

Van mij mag je Nederlands spreken maar dan misschien beter een vertaling eronder zetten

(You are allowed to speak dutch but maybe it's better to put a translation beneath it)

Since your question is in english, I'll answer it in english back

football (soccer), cyclocross, formula 1, athletics and others as long as they aren't boring ^^

But it's none of their business! :o :p

Anyway, that's nothing I find interesting, haha. Well, maybe cyclocross on occasions.

What are your thoughts about Basketball or Baseball?

Basketball is cool. I like to watch it but there isn't a lot of basketball on TV over here. I'd like to watch the NBA especially

Baseball when I wouldn't be over-active and quite lazy then I think I can managa watching that sport

Awesome, is this art based on your pictures?
