Well I like Ushijima and Me and the devil blues a lot. I don't know whether they are english scanlated or published but both stories are really great.

Ushijima is about socially, mentally, marginal people who need money for their asocial behaviour (gambling, drug issues, poverty, etc). Ushijima is some guy who gives shark loans to these people. It's a very great manga because you get involved with another unpleasant, hard society in japan

Me and the Devil blues is a manga about some famous blues artist (Robert Johnson iirc) who died very young but nevertheless made some great music during his short music career. It was always said he made a pact with the devil. Very great art, very great story, very great characters, etc

sadly on hold because the mangaka decided to do something else

Re: Koenosaki in Battlestar Galactica Marathon: final season (4) episode 12

Hello Koen!

How are you? How is weather? Pretty interesting chapter, both Naruto and Bleach. What do you think? Are you any good at drawing?

Re: Koenosaki in Battlestar Galactica Marathon: final season (4) episode 12

I am fine but very busy with my final paper :)

The wheather is really nice today. The sun is shining... Fresh air, heppy faces,... I hope there'll be more nice days coming.

Hmmm, naruto and bleach, I'll answer for this week (knowing you asked this question a while ago)
-> Naruto: I don't know why people are complaining about current chapter. First they complain how this fight was stretched out for too long and now they get the long awaited sasu-naru fight and still it isn't good. I liked this chapter a lot because I like the solid will naruto still has. It's the roots where this manga started, a boy who'll never give up his ideals and thus become hokage

-> Bleach: nice to hear that WW was a weapon against Yama. It seems Yama is still too strong but you never know with Aizen. If this is all WW can show us, then I would be dissapointed. I know most people want ,as fast as it can, the battle yama vs aizen but I'd rather wait with that :p.

and Gin gives me a very strange feeling, I am starting to believe he's pulling strings which even Aizen is unaware of

oh I totally suck at drawing

ps: sorry for the very belated answer

Re: Koenosaki severly burned his hand and arm today in +30cm jet flame

How the hell did you manage to do that? I mean seriously, who deliberately puts his arm behind a jet turbine?

Well I was working in the kitchen of the restaurant (weekend job). So I was asked to bake the beef steak. When I turned it from one side to the other side. The beef steak fell from the flesh fork into the sauce pan full with melted butter. A lot of butter fell on my hand and arm and also on the fire which caused a very high 3 second jet flame from the fire to the filters up above. When that happened, coincidentally my hand was above the fire thus it ended up being in that jet flame. Luckily my hand and arm shows 2nd grade fire wounds from the hot butter. It's not 3rd grade burned.

It's quite red on different places and there's the follicles on it. Ah well, it'll heal, I just hope it won't stay red forever

Ah, a kitchen accident, it will heal after about 4 months in a month or so it will actually look brown instead of red and for the first few days or so I suggest using aloe vera for the pain, I have also have had one of those accidents thanks to my younger sibling who thought that throwing water at the frying pan I was using at that moment would mess up the meal I was preparing for revenge for a couple of sharp comments I made (as you might have guessed we don't get along)

Thank you

but I am glad it's just my hand and arm. We were really lucky because the cook and I were really close to that jet flame, it could have been worse if the fire would have caught our head. I would have been traumatised if the cook would have been hurt from my clumsiness. Ah well, we got a true fire spectacle: how do you say? Flame on

And feel better quickly. I think Dutchies have that fast recovery rate though, so hi5.

Not possible, it's bandaged and you definitely don't want to see the uglyness of my hand and arm

Whatever you do, try to resist the urge to pick the dead skin off, it only makes it worse. If it's a large area burn then it's best to try to see a nurse for debridement.

I had a terrible scald on my right thumb from the cuticle past the knuckle from steam and I picked it too soon and it just increased the pain. It's still sort of discolored there, but with second degree burns it takes months/years for the color to become normal again.

That's why I bandaged it: to avoid that the follicles would open. One big one was already opened and the skin was torn off. Now it looks better but I think that the colour will indeed take long before they are gone for good

Sorry man I am extremely to ask you so late but how are you and especially your hand? Is it better? Bad things happen to good people <.<.

How are your studies going? Anything worth happening in life?

I am doing fine :) Feeling very good lately.

The burning? After a week of daily treatment (with ointments and bandages), I finally took of the bandages to give the wounds light and air. Follicles are gone, the red spots are still there but well, it'll take some time before they are gone

How are your studies going? Anything worth happening in life?
My first semester was (very) good. No failures at all and I still have a complete tolerance for credits with a total amount of 6 study points. No stressful feeling at this moment, even though I have a busy time with my (final) paper. Everything is going smoothly according to my plan :) Let's hope my 2/3 feedback of my supervisor will be positive (as in no huge changes to be made)

Anything worth in life? Can I call a trump card till saturday/sunday... Then I might be able to tell more ;) (you do know I like to be mysterious ^^)

Re: Once you get drunk, time is just a matter of semantics

The thought just hit me, why aren't you becoming political active in Belgium? I mean, you have a fucked up voting system, you hate the politicians, you're pretty intelligent... it all makes sense!!
