Re: Kanako Watanabe for the win :p

Yeah, but don't you think Takuto's neck is kinda, oddly long :neutral The costume designs are pretty cool though :XD
Well it is oddly long but still naturally it is possible, my fingers and my neck are above common length too. They are long too (not that I like it :XD)

Oh yes Koen if you have time check out X/1999 if you haven't! Great shoujo that reads almost like a shounen! Only thing is, it's been on hiatus for around 7 years now :(
I haven't read the manga but I did watch the anime. The anime wasn't bad but the concept was mediocre imo. Well, it is sad that some great manga are on a very long hiatus. Can't they finish it? What is the logics behind putting a manga on a hiatus and meanwhile drawing new manga... I have never liked unfinished business

Lol, I didn't see it like that... There is my imagination of faceless c_k (rawwwrrrrrrrrr). Thank you Mil :spaz...

My thread title is just some creative hunch I got: wouldn't it be nice -> me going to India being guided by the fantastic duo Mil and Kaiten

You don't like the image? :( You don't know about c_k and her use of whips? :ck? Just what have you been doing, sir?!

Nowai. Get Kait to do it, he's Indian, not me. I'm great with sense of direction, but geography is nono, so I'd get us lost and attacked by remnant of the Thugees. THUGEES. D:

Hey Mister! Which fansub would you advise me to download Star Driver episodes of? I'm finally ready to pick up the series ;)

Also I'm curious to learn if you've started Dexter or DRRR yet?

gg -> first subbers and best imo. They always release it very fast. Expect a character driven, plot driven anime instead of mecha fight driven anime

Tomorrow I am going to watch the first episode of DRRR and meanwhile dling another bunch

Dexter is an X-mas project :)

Fixed that for you.

Fixed what?

Well, I need someone to correct Mil's mistakes

Of course I like the image. I am not afraid of her whip. I have been eating, drinking, sleeping, working, etc

But I don't even like curry :(
I don't like curry either. Mil can have it all...

Lemm say that I don't hate it but few curry taste very good. I think a lot of people underestimate the curry taste and curry is definitely a yes when it is made very good. It is one of those sauces I don't dare to order

But eg the chicken curry a lot of people buy and like to butter on their bread is really awful

Depends on what kind of curry... Japanese curry for example is very mild - good for people like me who don't like spicy food.

Indian curry is awesome with Indian yoghurt and roti prata or naan :nuts Try it someday if you haven't - I'm sure tour guide Milly can recommend some to you in India. I brave the spiciness though I hate it because it tastes awesome.

Japanese curry is too mild for me. Indian curry is awesome indeed. I love dipping bread or naan (it's so expensive now :() to soak up the broth. :nod

Have you tried Vietnamese curry? It's spicy though my mom used evaporated milk to make it a bit milder.

Re: Mangahelpers awards // Next destination: India ~ guides: Mil and Kaiten /// Durarara (ep3)

... half an hour or so ago weren't you at DRRR!! ep2? :o

Well, I suppose this speed means you like it :hurr Good stuff, ain't it?? Got a favourite character yet? :p

@riki: Nope, never tried Vietnamese curry before! Sounds good though :) Have you tried roti prata? It's something like Indian pancake (?) :)

Re: Mangahelpers awards // Next destination: India ~ guides: Mil and Kaiten /// Durarara (ep3)

@Riki and Sally: This proves that I am not so into curry. I do know that certain tastes can differ. One likes it more spicy while the other likes it more mild. Does it really differ from the area you are visiting? Anyway, that said: I prefer darker coloured spicy - not too spicy - curry.

@Sally: Yeah, I like it a lot. It can be that I'll be watching another batch of 3 episodes later on this night. A favourite character? I can't tell it at this moment but going by the first 3 episodes: Shizuo Heiwajima I think.

Malai kofta is awesome. Other curries are fail and can go be insulted by Gordon Ramsey. :pwnge

Yes. YES YES! I Love you man! -Oh wait...!

Like you should know, Shizuo is my favorite too, Izaya comes second. Although I'm surprised that Shizuo is your favorite so early on, he barely has screen time during those episodes. Have you already seen the first Shizuo & Izaya "duel"? If so then I guess I fully understand you. Izaya was my favorite until episode 7 or so IIRC. I really should rewatch the series sometime. I just want to say one thing; After episode 7-8 the series is at it's maximum level or so to speak. It's pretty slow at the start with the introduction of all the characters, so don't give up on it. The end of the first season will kick your ass.

Re: Mangahelpers awards // Next destination: India ~ guides: Mil and Kaiten /// Durarara (ep4)

Well, it was the sum up... Introduction in Ikebukuro and you see some machine flying in the air. Kida warns Mikado for not becoming on bad terms with Shizuo.

An episode or two episodes later, you get to see Izaya meeting with Kida, Mikado and Anri. He is doing some chat and suddenly something is thrown to Izaya by Shizuo. Hilarious :rofl

and then some people who claim themselves to be dollars try to pick up a fight with Shizuo. The first guy was knocked naked to the other side of the street :rofl

I am at episode 4 and I might watch another 2 this night. I like it a lot

Don't put the volume too loud but damn, I love that piano song a lot

What a fucking awesome melody

Re: Mangahelpers awards // Durarara (ep13): Isaac and Miria from Baccano - what a cameo

Wowee are you fast!! :omg

So you should be entering the second half and the second arc of DRRR!! now, yes? :) Well things will be building up now as well to the conclusion!! :dance

Shizuo is hilarious, isn't he? :3 He gets even more gar as we go along, look forward to it :thumbs Though my favourite is still Izaya who is actually pulling the strings in some sense and reveling in everything~! "I LOVE HUMANS!" as he would say. I liked him best at the start, then starting liking Shizu-chan more, then umm, I think at the end I liked Izaya more.
