Also, the actual purpose of my using my last 2 minutes online to post here before I have to go down to entertain people - I finished Toriko!!! I finished on the plane back, and it's great!! Especially the more recent chapters about god and the gourmet world and melk! Thanks for the rec man!

Yes, I have watched DRRR till the end, strange but true, I have the same feeling like baccano: I want more!!!! Man, I was happy when simon punched Izaya a black eye. I have never liked Izaya and I was really happy that he failed achieving his plans. Kida, Anri and Mikado had a serious character development in the second part whereas the first part was mostly about the interaction with their surroundings (Shizuo, Celty, Izaya, etc). I loved DRRR but I would have liked some extra episodes for the ending.

Hell yeah, sally, Yep those courses like God, Air,... are very interesting. I kinda expect a lot from it just like I expect a lot from the gourmet world. Has Nuno already started reading Toriko? He said he was going to try.

I had alcohol in my system, It was a weak moment. It's not like I enjoyed it...

Why the name change?

...And maybe this has been asked before but, what did koenosaki mean? A characters name?

name change:
well everyone started to call me koen instead of koenosaki. Koen is my real name and unlike many, my nickname didn't have a meaning (check below)

meaning of nickname:
- when I was a kid I used to form my name into manga/anime character's names. In my own language koen isn't pronounced like ko-en but it is pronounced like - kun or coon (though the oo has to be pronounced very short). The sound of my name allows me to take a japanese version, thus I made kurosaki into koenosaki (oe sounds like u in kurosaki).

- most japanese translators always read my nick like koe no saki = beyond the voice

- my new nick/real name koen is a pure (= no Romanesque influences) Germanic name. Its meaning is 1. brave, valiant, courageous, audacious,... 2. A capable adviser. It can thus be sometimes used as an adjective like een koene ridder (a brave knight). A derived form - not so popular - is coenraad/koenraad (maybe the english conrad will ring a bell).
Most people find the name koen always tough and forceful

Actually there's coming out a few episodes now. Episode 12.5 was released recently and was okay. Later episode 25 will come out, which should be interesting as it should take place post-ending. I'm not sure when it'll come out, but those two episodes were part of the extra episodes for the DVD release, so probably soon.

I haven't started Toriko yet. I told you the hype would be almost gone the day after. But it seemed interesting so it's on my list.

One day, there was a scientist named Koenstein. This scientist was always intrigued by a certain immanence, present in all human beings, going by the name Ero; in scientific community shortened to E.

Humankind has always been aware of this power but humankind couldn't grasp at the same what E drove at. So it became koenstein's existential reason to uncover the secrets within E.

After research without result, Koenstein began to distrust himself. Was E an immanence? Maybe E was a transcendence only a godlike existence could understand? When he had those feelings of distrust and the questions which came along, he decided to drink a cup of tea chez Nuno and blai.

Koenstein was always a welcomed guest over there. Nuno and blai always loved how he brought forward his great theories. Their favourite books of him were After 56 years still in Kindergarten, what is the meaning of M3J; Garbear and Kaiten: a deep platonic black hole love and many other books.

It was always an usage of Koenstein to drink tea with Connstein chez Nuno and blai. Connstein was a friend of Koenstein during student life they both had at Saladesu University. Saladesu University was in the world known as world's best univerisity because its founder Saladesu was called Sally and/or Desu.

While having a chat with tea and Connstein, two girls across their table caught Koenstein's eyes. These two girls were laughing and having fun; not the fun Nuno and blai had when making tea and coffee.

So Koenstein decided to step up from his table and walked towards the table. He said: "Hello, ladies, it looks like your beautiful lips are ..." Some big cries from the kindergarten section disturbed this opening line, some Indian kid playing in it was kicked out of the coffee shop.

So where were we? Oh yeah, the opening line wasn't finished but one of the girls said out loud: "my name is c_k. My lips are having fun with Goodie's, my friend's lips". Koenstein looked around. Something burned inside him; a feeling which he awaited for a long time. Yes, he looked over his shoulder and he observed how Nuno's and blai's tea making fun stopped. These two guys were standing there with their mouth open. He turned around to watch connstein. Yes, even his friend connstein stopped drinking his tea with an open mouth full of enjoyment. An enjoyment these guys all experienced because of what was said.

This feeling? I have to get outside thought Koenstein. The consequence of what c_k said was unmeasurable. Even external effects such as the kicked out Indian kid watching the playgirl he picked up on the street with an open mouth were present.

Koenstein laughed and cried: EUREKA, E=Goodiec²_k
