It's sorta like what Layton said, they've gone so long trying to get rid of the class system and just give the Taillies a good life, that now all of it is at a danger of being taken away, so they have to put that aside and get rid of this enemy.Haha same tbh, was hoping to just binge the season
But I agree, there still seems to be the conflict between those groups. They feel more united that last season (given the circumstances), but I wonder how long that will last.
Oh yeah, could totally see her doing that. Suits her haha.
I think Melanie's daughter will also play a big role. I think (with some conflict), she'll end up helping Melanie out instead of mr. Wilford.
Also what do you think of that 'snow falling' situation that Melanie found? Perhaps the world is warming up again a little bit.
(That shopping list they got from mr. Wilford lol... )
But just like Ruth, if Wilford starts to sway the people, he might start getting into their heads and convincing them Layton and the council don't have their best interest. I especially see those in first class falling for that, all they care about is their comfort.
Yeah definitely, you could already see that in this last episode when deciding between disconnecting the train or not. Actually even before that when she went to visit her in her cell; the look on her face just screamed like she just wanted to believe her mum but because she's conditioned by Wilford she snapped out of it once she felt her mum was lying to her.
About the snow, at first I didn't think about the importance of it lol but you're right; after a while (especially when speaking to her daughter) I had the same thought. Maybe the world is warming up but I don't think it's at a speed that would allow them to leave by lets say the end of the season. But it's hope at least.
It was a scientific experiment that caused the freeze right?
LOL the shopping list was so random, my first thought was that Wilford was trying to establish what they had as inventory but in the end I think he was half trying to fuck with them and half just wanting the things for himself. I think that's what he used to make the meal towards the end.
