Discussion Revisiting Garam's story

I keep seeing all kinds of posts about Garam's story, certain parts are trusted, certain are not and replaced with headcanons/theories that we can't understand because we aren't in each other's heads. So let's clear everything up.

Garam starts talking about Baam's origin here. If you think a bullet point is wrong, post what you think about it and what you think really happened:

1. Arlen brought Baam into this world, was Zahard's love interest, Baam's mother and the source of this tragedy.
2. Maybe she is his mother, maybe she isn't.
3. Garam learned about Arlen from Enne, who is now insane.
4. Garam found Arlen's pocket that Enne had hidden and believed her story.
5. There was a diary written by Arlen herself.
6. Arlen loved V, another GW who was Luslec's leader.
7. They became a couple during the climb.
8. Zahard decided to stop the climb.
9. V and Arlen were against it, with the latter saying he was blinded by falsehood.
10. Zahard didn't listen to them and became the King of the Tower thanks to the Admins.
11. He proposed to Arlen, but she was engaged to V so she rejected him.
12. She ran away with V and created an organization to fight Zahard and retrieve the keys to the next floor.
13. Zahard was mad and fought them.
14. There were several conflicts, even among the 10 FHs.
15. The 10 FHs were Pro-Zahard, V and Arlen lost the war and became fugitives.
16. Arlen was pregnant when she ran away.
17. Zahard learned about her pregnancy and killed the baby in front of her soon after his birth.
18. Her hatred and grief made her lose sanity. Making her records strange.
19. She tried to kill herself but couldn't because of the Immortality Contract.
20. V, unlike his companions didn't have the Immortality Contract.
21. Arlen's state was too much for him and he killed himself.
22. V's suicide note: Forget everything, return to your companions and live happily".
23. Arlen didn't return.
24. She wandered in the Tower, trying to find a way out for a very long time.
25. She used magic to keep her baby's body from rotting and carried the keepsakes from V with her.
26. She thought it was possible to resurrect her baby if she left the Tower.
27. She wrote at the end of the diary"I have finally found a way to get out of this place".
28. What she wanted: A place without Zahard or Admins. I don't know where that place will be but as long as I can see the vast sky and shining stars which are so much like my own home, it doesn't matter.
29. "But even as I was leaving this place, I couldn't let go of the longing for my love and the pity for my dead child. So I decided to offer this child's body to the god on the outside."
30. "Someday, that God's power will enter this dead child's body and awaken him again."
31. "That child will open the door to this Tower and return someday".
32. "He shall achieve vengeance for my love and finish the war which we started with his own hands".
33. "He shall destroy corrupt power and bring truth to the Tower".
34. "God's messenger shall place the Red Thorn in that child's hands and that child shall use the Red Thorn to cut the throat of the greedy king".
35. "And he shall find the hidden key, opening the door".
36. "And lead everyone on the Tower to greater heights".
37. Garam said that child is Baam.
38. Arlen gave birth to Baam and raised him on the 43rd Floor ie the Floor of Death.
39. That's why Baam felt nostalgic when he came there.
40. Zahard built a shrine for him there because Arlen loved this place.
41. Enryu, the messenger of God, came there to destroy the altar and deliver the Thorn to Baam.
42. Red Rain happened.
43. Rumors were spread that Enrryu hid the divine Thorn, able to kill Zahard there.
44. FUG came to look for it and started waiting for the prophecy's child.

We know thanks to the latter arcs that Zahard really killed Baam(HF arc) and that V died(the current arc).

First of all, you have all my thanks for making this. I am sure we will be visiting this thread a lot in the future for various references.

The child is definitely our Baam and not Vaam. I am 100% certain about this but it is also true that our Bam is a vessel meant for revenge. Bam admitted to himself this fact during the revolution when he drew the line and said Now I am gonna fight like myself and then, Black shinshoo made its first official appearance. Bam/Night, I believe Black shinshoo is his shinshoo simply because of the night reference. Rachel also said she's afraid of the night/darkness. When dark change Baam made his first appearance he changed the whole arena black and black rain fell to the ground.

V's shinshoo is blue and his aura radiates purple/violet glow. I think going forward we should be very clear on this to know when Baam is using his shinshoo qualities, it will be black.
I think Dark Change Baam is our Baam himself, the irregular.

We will know more about V's shinshoo going forward in the story and then we can make our own judgement and theories.


The part which Garam didn't tell Baam is between points 21 & 29. This gap is the spooky part.

Besides, we need to consider what Rachel said about Baam and Arlene. Maybe it wasn't a lie.
