About Ryoma vs Atobe

When Kawamura nor Kabaji couldn't play anymore at the same time, it was a draw.
Why, when both Ryoma and Atobe are lying on the ground unable to move, "if the next play doesn't start withing 90 seconds it's his opponent's point" "the score is tied, the person who gets up will win"? Why is it not a draw? (and then Fuji vs Jirou v2 and it's clear who would win anyway)

Kawamura and Kabaji basically both forfeited at the same time. However, in tennis there is a time limit until you have to serve/receive, and neither Atobe nor Echizen was actually forfeiting (yeah they were both on the ground, but PoT etc.), so that's why they would get points if the time limit ran out. If one of them got up, they would automatically get the points from their opponent going over the limit and then could serve themselves to eventually get a two point lead.

I hope that's somewhat comprehensible >_>;;

"but PoT etc." :rofl:rofl:rofl

I understand.

Then, in Kawamura vs Kabaji, who was supposed to serve next? Why would both forfeit? The one that would win if the other one didn't serve, why would he forfeit? Or, since, they didn't pass out, they could somehow serve with the other hand and it would be too much of a risk, whether the reciever can return or not, so they accepted draw instead?

Kawamura had to serve next.

They both forfeit though because neither can hit any shots anymore, so assuming you always let the timer run out, the match would never end. I don't think either would be capable of hitting something with their non dominant hand.

The match would never end? Ok then, Kawamura would lose his service games and Gin would lose his service games, but wasn't score like 5-0 at that time? Gin would win... wouldn't he? o_O

Kawamura could still theoretically get a serve over the net I guess, and Gin was unable to hit anything.

I'm afraid there's no AtoTez in the future chapters as Niou won't become a lefty player with that destroyed hand :XD

With this pace, maybe Nioh will try to keep the Tezuka ilusion for at least one more chapter.

On another note, i'm trying this new Smirnoff Ice that i saw in the market earlier. Cranberry+lemon_vodka. Not great. Classic Smirnoff ice is still better.
There is also one with apple, maybe i will buy one to try later.
The can is cute, though. :XD

Was that yuri? :gwah

Funny that Smirnoff Ice comes in cans there. I think it's only bottles here, which doesn't really make sense.

We have both can and bottle for the classic Smirnoff Ice.

We could too for all I know, but I've only ever seen the bottles. I assume they are popular in Brazil too then?

What do they mean? "...Ryoma was seeing a different image from the reality before him."
Echizen almost saw ZSD in all it's glory, taking the point, but in reality Tezuka was unable to pull it off, it bounced and Atobe returned it?

:wtf
:scry

If you're still analyzing twist serve and it's power, it knocked off Hiyoshi's racket as well.

Yes, that's what they mean.

Thanks. It's more about how much power/spin is necessary to knock away someone's racket or break the gut than Twist Serve itself though.

I guess your dreams of more AtoTez didn't happen.

We'll see what to make out of it all though.

I wonder how can Atobe concentrate with Nioh's nice butt in the corner, facing him. :teehee
