I feel Qrow will get more moments to shine in the next volume like he did in vol. 4.

THANK YOU! I was dumbfounded when I first saw this.... This is something I want an explanation off. It's just more of the nonsense with which this volume violently assaulted us towards the end.

And another bit that annoys me though maybe I am just being petty. On one hand we had that awesome scene of weiss using karma to impale hazel. On the other immediately after her battle pose is basically her standing there like an asshole with her every vital point exposed. In volume one we had weiss carefully preparing her stance before attacking. In this one she exposes her vitals...

Also, I will eventually point out every asinine bit this volume threw at us. It will take me months but I will point out every one. The last two episodes were so bad I am reasonably sure I vastly prefer volume 4 over this one. At least volume 4 was consistent.

They won't even talk tbh if Raven wanted to fix anything she would stay with Yang she teleported to Tai only because he was her only option left and then she will just fly away..

That explains Tai look because the person he loved and admired is long one.

Oh, I liked the bit with tai and raven. When she teleported it didn't hit me that the only choice she had left, as far as we knew, was tai. Of course, by no means raven teleported to him because she has feeling for him. Her portals only take her to tai, qrow, yang and presumably vernal. She literally had no one left. A normal human being would have perhaps dozens of portal she could use. friends, family...And yet is such a cowardly and despicable human being that even after leaving her family behind she barely made one portal in 16 years. Of course, the issue here is not that raven had any feelings for tai. As far as we know she has moved on. And so has tai as he had a child with another woman barely a year after raven left. Raven is so far removed from how tai remembers her... She is gloriously pathetic. I just hope the series doesn't kill qrow so that they can fit raven in.

One part of volume 5 I don't know if I love or hate is when raven told cinder "If you were clever....".. That moment loses impact if we consider that we could easily tell raven "If you were clever... YOU'D HAVE A PLAN".

Fit her how? Like she travels with the girls on their journey? I don't think that's ever going to happen with Raven, even judging from her personality she'd never fit in with the main characters. That would require a MASSIVE 180 heel turn that I'm pretty sure would look pretty awful writing wise.
Though I think it's obvious at the end of the series that all the members of Team STRQ will be dead. They're literally the Marauders of the RWBY world, but I expect them to leave on their last legacies to Team RWBY. Or at least Ruby and Yang.

Naah, you aren't wrong I wasn't actually sure why she had gone to check on Tai, but you explained it pretty well in your post, so I have no more doubts left

I don't think it requires that massive a turn. Raven isn't motivated by her desire to be stronger, a good mother, or anything of any worth. Raven is a character who is entirely defined solely by her cowardice. Not love, ambition, stubbornness... She abandoned ozpin, qrow, tai and her daughter exclusively because she was afraid of salem. Her return to her shity tribe of murderers and thieves was motivated solely by how afraid she was of salem, not because she gave two consecutive shits about them. She would rather live a life of thievery and murder than confront her fear of salem. I simply can't stress enough the sheer extent to which raven is pathetic, she has nothing and is nothing beyond her cowardice. Even leo had the basic decency to admit to himself how pathetic he is, raven couldn't even admit that to herself.

Again, raven isn't ambitious, she has no one close to her, she has no courage whatsoever. Sure, she can hold herself in a fight which is good but her only real and significant personality trait is her cowardice. Raven actually is cunning but even that is drowned out by how terrified she is of salem. So... what has to happen for her to chance? Raven isn't a complex character in that regard. If anything the only place her character can go from here is, well, overcoming her cowardice. Because there is nothing else for her to do or go a a character after the verbal smackdown yang gave raven. Raven only has the option to overcome her cowardice or die a death worst than leo's. And this is where qrow's death comes in.... If raven ever overcomes her cowardice, what would qrow's role be? If raven ever overcomes her cowardice then at least one of the twins has to die.

I don't think he hasn't done any impactful things in vol 5 aside from his crow reveal.

Watts is based of dr frankenstein? I didn't know that... And it doesn't seem to be the case. So far he seems to be a sort of engineer though, I am not sure abominations like that would fall into his area.

Gotta ask though, was it necessary for cinder to even have a grimm arm? Sure, it has a nice surprise factor to it but overall it seems less useful than a robot arm. A robot arm would be basically like a hunter weapon, meaning it channels aura. And technically cinder doesn't need a grimm arm to steal maiden powers, just the regular grim glove does that easily to begin with. The oddly specific skill of stealing magic seems less useful than being able to use your aura to defend yourself. cinder basically went around with a glaring weakpoint to her left...

The only thing I'm interested in and scared at the same time ( because it may be underwhelming ) what have happened to Raven to change someone who was fighting for her team and people she loves into someone who put people she loves in danger so she can survive one more day..

Honestly, I see Raven coming back but at the same time, I don't see her surviving for long when she will.

Anyway do you guys have any theories/wishlist/hopes for Vol.6 ?:P ( I have but it will now take too much time for me to write that essay )

Watts is based of dr frankenstein? I didn't know that... And it doesn't seem to be the case. So far he seems to be a sort of engineer though, I am not sure abominations like that would fall into his area.

It's a theory that Watts is based on Dr Frankenstein which Honestly I doubt..

Disgrace Scientist/Doctor Honestly when we saw Atlas putting a soul into Robot etc. what have weird shit Watts do to earn that title.

One thing for Sure that Atlas may be most powerful from all kingdoms but as Fall of Beacon showed that Giant can easily collapse ( James and Jacques argument with each other will not help anyone ) << Imo bad guys will most likely get the Relic as for Atlas itself I don't see it remain unscathed to put it lightly

• Ruby character development
• More Nora and Ren (they didn't do much this season)
• No Raven death (I like the Branwen family)
• Watts' backstory

I need more fight scenes

Okay, in serious note, my expectations for vol 6 are:
1. More Qrow and Winter scenes (I agree with both @Arjuna and @Juviii here)
2. More JNR scenes
3. A lot of development for each character (especially Ruby and Oscar)
4. The reveal of the next maiden and the relic's location
5. Since we are going to Atlas, more of Weiss' family and/or Team FNKI

Okay seriously, I am really disappointed with Adam in volume 5. He went so well at first but falls flat so hard to the ground. Once was a mysterious powerful villain turned into a laughingstock, and it's horrible. I hope the writers will get to flesh out more of his character in volume 6.

I'm not disappointed at all tbh..

He was always in control of situation and always have some sort of advantage here everything he got was slowly taken away from him and he charge like enraged Bull ( His faunus trait :P ) but once he was a litle more collected and choose to run away ( what would be the point of him fighting against Blake/Sun/Ilia/Police/Ghira and Huntsman that was on the way there's no way he would win that ) and Blake aknowledge that even in duo with Sun they can't take him down << So I look forward to Yang and Blake vs Him..
As for Adam bringing only 10/12 people, it's an effect of Cinder altering original plans Adam couldn't attack with full force until Cinder will end with her goals so he brings small party to set up bombs ( Bombs probably would be the signal for the Army Ilia spoke about in Chapter 14 )
