I don't think it's Sienna personally that causes Adam to go to that path, but moreso the goals of Sienna and her organization's that he started to be twisted. I remember that Blake did say that it's not the first accident, so he's already causing trouble. The way that she and the other faunus treat him as a hero is just an added bonus to his fallen morale.Start - " It's time we get what we deserve "
Ending - " It's time I got what I deserve "
Honestly Sienna got what she has deserved have started portraying Adam like some kind of hero because he killed that guy that was a moment I believe that started twisting him.
I have this question since it was up 2 weeks ago but I have to honestly ask this how old is Adam and Ilia in the scene with Ghira ( over five years before Volume 1 ) they don't appear much younger and the person stops changing drastically in 17/19 years old..
Meaning that when they wanted to bang Blake ( Adam probably did ) << let's say she was 16 years old then Ilia and Adam would be 21 + speaking about creepy factor... either that or plot hole.
Blake most likely got a inspiration for her weapon from both Adam and Sienna..
I'm hoping for the first one. The second outcome would be anticlimatic if it's handled poorly. But Adam as a wildcard in Vol. 6 is very likely.Either some kind of horrible scar or SIlver eyes...
Part of me thinks that Adam will not join Salem and he will just become wild card and will follow RWBY and Co. to Atlas on his own.

God, I hope notOr maybe Adam is someone close to Qrow or others in the past.

It's further than five years in the first scene you see Adam approaching WF members with an old symbol of the WF.Blake said that it's 5 years ago before volume 1 that the White Fang had a new leader. But it's not to say that these events are exactly five years ago. The accidents that we see are long after WF had Sienna, probably couple of years before Blake left (pre-Volume 1). So that might explain why they don't age that much and Adam's wording of Blake's parents abandoning their "cause"
As I said in that scene we have a time skip to Sienna taking over so some time has passed and since Blake look around 16 it's probably 3/4 years after Ghira stepped down..I remember that Blake did say that it's not the first accident, so he's already causing trouble. The way that she and the other faunus treat him as a hero is just an added bonus to his fallen morale.
We have been blessedAlso, Blake's cat ears![]()

I put it in the same bag as Blake punching Adam ( Actually no I put it lower )But nope, weiss decides to bring back hazel inside.
I would also but my bag is full...I put it in the same bag as Blake punching Adam ( Actually no I put it lower )
bizarre choice for RoosterTeeth to make a trailer for a side character. They've always done only character shorts for the main four so making one for a side character, or more precisely for a villain, makes me believe other side character shorts are incoming. Hoping my girl Winter gets one
, and more best girl Weiss. Is it possible that volume 6 will be only the journey to Atlas and we will still have to focus on Adam? In all honesty i lost complete interest in him after he took like 10 people to Haven like an idiot and was cringe no-diffed by Blake and a bunch of "civilians on patrol", and then ran like a bitzh
To think that he was such a menace after Volume 3.No more shorts for yahoping for another character short

( it's over 2 weeks since Yang one just give it to me I was hoping we will get it with a trailer
)Well thats a bummerNo more shorts for ya
It's the only short we are getting for this Volume
Where's my Blake art for Volume 6 Ein Lee( it's over 2 weeks since Yang one just give it to me I was hoping we will get it with a trailer
)
so its the same as with volume 4 when we got only Ruby character shortNo.. They will be released and this time they doing reverse order ( that's why Blake is next ) But dunno when..No more character shorts, means no more cover art (usually they come as a duo)you answered your question yourself, but im open for surprises
They decided that they won't make more and focus on doing Volume 6 instead ( which is good honestly ) Weiss and Yang shorts have taken a lot of time to produce..Well thats a bummerso its the same as with volume 4 when we got only Ruby character short
God dammitNo.. They will be released and this time they doing reverse order ( that's why Blake is next ) But dunno when..
Here's your surprise

I didnt watch this years RTX RWBY Panel. So cover art is still coming, cool Another bummerBad News for Sun fans I think: Kim that was behind Sun gunchucks ( and the majority of Blake vs Ilia when Blake set her house on fire / Ozpin vs Hazel etc. is no longer working on RWBY..
ever since Monty they couldnt get a firm grip on the animation and the battle choreography, and now competent people are leaving you say ... well i hope they bring some fresh top tier talents or the animation will suffer in volume 6 and beyond. The trailer you linked is all Monty greatness. And like i said, ever since he passed away RossterTeeth lost their touch with the animation and choreography. The very main highligh of RWBY back in the day were the fights, it wasnt the story. And now with mid tier animators (comparing them to Monty) it switched more to story cuz the fight animation have sub-par depth and smoothness compared to the old days of volume 1 and 2 and some of 3.I mean, its not like the stuff that went on during blake vs ilya or blake in general has been any good. I guess technically there is room for things to get worst. Did these guys also animate the battle between cinder and raven?
And even the character short with adam.... Ok, compare any of his fights there with yang's yellow trailer:
This is vastly superior to adam's character short. The detail, the footwork, the colors... The bulk of what we see with adam's short.... I mean, the short is not bad per say but it ends up looking generic and not like something you'd expect from Rwby.
well i hope they find a few new talents that could give the magic back to RWBY, in some shape or form Damn, the tragedy there ends up being that the transition to the story.... hurt the story. I mean, the plot of volume 5 does not survive any non zero amount of analysis. It's stumbles from plot hole to incoherent ramblings by the minute (never forget the line "I thought you were the quiet one"). The first volume didn't have much in the way of plot overall, it just introduced the cast and setting but volume 2 and 3 presented a very smooth plot progression that made sense. Something which volume 4 kinda did and volume 5 failed miserably at in every conceivable regard. Heck, just look at the haven attack... it was just the bad guys half assing a school bombing. The trailer you linked is all Monty greatness. And like i said, ever since he passed away RossterTeeth lost their touch with the animation and choreography. The very main highligh of RWBY back in the day were the fights, it wasnt the story. And now with mid tier animators (comparing them to Monty) it switched more to story cuz the fight animation have sub-par depth and smoothness compared to the old days of volume 1 and 2 and some of 3.
Even though the new CRWBY animation team doesnt possess the magical touch of Monty its still a bummer to hear people leavewell i hope they find a few new talents that could give the magic back to RWBY, in some shape or form

I recently rewatch it and I do see your points here. But it is still strange that they didn't age too much at that time. It's probably the old-fashioned "I'm too lazy to draw younger characters" shtick, but oh well....It's further than five years in the first scene you see Adam approaching WF members with an old symbol of the WF.
Same in the next scene with Adam they also wear the old logo which means that Ghira was still a leader ( a logo changed after Sienna took over )
The scene with Blake ( and Blake look younger than her Volume 1 self tbh ) is when Sienna took over because in the next scene they already wear the new logo.
So it's 50/50 but the fact remains that Adam and Ilia didn't age almost for 5 years and usually it happens when someone is 17 + that they change drastically ( Honestly VA once guessed that Adam is 23 which would fit but writers never confirmed it )
As I said in that scene we have a time skip to Sienna taking over so some time has passed and since Blake look around 16 it's probably 3/4 years after Ghira stepped down..
Sienna (and the other faunus) may have cause him to even choose this path further, but he's already a twisted person from the beginning. I don't really think he could be redeemed even if Sienna and others didn't tell him to stop. Blake certainly wasn't enough to stop his true goals. But Sienna was somehow responsible for Adam going that way by calling and making him a hero in front of everyone encouraging him to that type of actions ( he was always a twisted person but Sienna gave a approval to this and even rewarded him for this )
I do wonder the first scene is in Atlas does that hint Adam is from Atlas![]()

TBH at first I preferred volume 5 over 4. My opinion switched as I rewatched both volumes. I found that while volume 4 was lackluster in general it still was effective at telling a story coherently and ultimately had some rewatching value. Volume 4 ultimately had several salvageable things. The fight against tiryan, the fight against that grim, oscar running into hazel, the bit with jaune listening to the phyrra video, the bar scene with qrow and raven... In turn volume 5 just gets worst every time you watch it. The story's lack of coherence, the plot holes, the fails, the buildups that don't pay out... I have yet to find something other than the raven fight to be legitimately salvageable. And worst of all, they made cinder lose 3/4 of her intelligence compared to the previous volumes and on top of that they had her defeated by someone that ultimately turned out to be as pathetic as cinder was dumb. Seriously, you had cinder saying they had the upperhand against their enemies and immediately proceed to completely waste it by leaving the battle altogether. Can you imagine what would have happened had cinder not left to get the relic during the haven battle? She would have easily killed everyone (unless raven betrayed her but that seems unlikely considering how pathetic raven is) and then proceeded to explode the school herself once the bombs didn't work. And yea, I do agree that the short is nothing compared to the past ones. I have a lot of problems with it, but still, it is enough to be a memorable short than what we got last two seasons ago.
Volume 4 is what I consider to be the worst, but I can see why someone else thinks Vol.5 to be in that spot. Let's just hope that Vol.6 can deliver good plot, characters and action scenes that we all wanted from the RWBY crew.
