With all this custom weaponry in the series, i always wondered if theyll ever upgrade their weapons (im mostly referring to the main team)

Given how she fought in volume 4/5 her original weapon does not even make sense anyways. Blake simply doesn't fight with dual blades anymore... This weapon looks like something that makes more sense with what we have seen over the past volume. But on the other hand, it also feels like a shortcut because current animators simply aren't competent enough to do with blake what they could do in the past.

I guess the other question is, what other weapons are they changing? In theory yang's has already had changes due to her getting her arm cut of. Ruby learned a bit more close quarter combat... though I am not sure if that makes a difference. Weiss.... doesn't need a weapon anymore considering how she has fought lately (like an ungraceful jackass to be precise). I mean, she could just put a target on all of her vitals and be done with it. Heck, she can replace her sword with a small stool she can trip over at anytime and she'd be as effective as she has been with her weapon last season....

Wow, I didn't notice that when I was rewatching some of RWBY's clips from the recent volumes

But I agree with Val that it's going be a modified version that will know more of in vol 6. Though, I would preferred having it few volumes ago.

I hope it's not just the main team that's going to change weapons. But if that's the case, it'll be down to Yang that already has it, Ruby might make her weapon a bit smaller for her combat and Weiss can have a gun part because every weapon is also a gun

I don't think this hasn't posted yet, but apparently RWBY will only show in Roosterteeth this season. I guess this is the right direction for them, considering the current youtube system....

I know I'm pretty late to the game, but whatever. This show is simply amazing and I regret big time to have joined the fun just before the 6th volume. Anyway, did any of you guys bought a shirt from the RT-Store? I would like to order a Raven and Qrow shirt, but buying clothes from an online shop - plus overseas - makes me wary of some things. Primarily, how comfortable the shirts feel on your skin?

By the way, since I can safely browse the www in regards to RWBY now, I have to say that I'm surprised at the Qrow x Summer ship. There are even diehard Qrow + Summer = Ruby fans out there. That never crossed my mind.

Currently enjoying the chibi episodes. Cinder, Neo and Tai are the best chibi characters. I love the way they make fun of Tai. I'm sure he will turn out to be one hell of a badass mofo (well, he is... ) once they give him proper screentime.
