Umm, thats a tough one, I´d give the win to Lamia Scale mostly due to Jura though, the guy one shotted Orga the berserker of Sabertooth in the great magic games, the guy that was overhyping minerva to be stronger than the "twin dragons", also if we are making the vs, without Rogue having future Rogue as a shadow power-up then him and Sting are equal in power.

Rufus would own Lyon in a prolonged fight however Lyon can spam his ice make quite a lot after time skip so it puts the question either or not rufus could memorize all of his attacks. Aside from that if we had a Yukino vs Lyon, I could see him defeating her spirits if he got serious, but it could end in a prolonged fight due to the balance spirit, field magic power.

sherry also could screw yukino with her magic too, forgot to mention that.
yuka and toby would lose against the twin dragons on a 2 on 2, chelia could also defeat Orga if she went third origin which is a great handicap for Orga, but then she would be done, it´s not like you can use much more than one spell after activating 3rd origin.

In the end though, I think it would all tie down to Jura vs Minerva which of them have the highest chance of winning? Both got handled by spriggans while with a group, maybe Jura could win I guess, we lack feats from Minerva after getting the "etherias" transformation, if it was a huge power-up, though, it would be saber winning. Thats my thoughts, on the match-up

I'd give this to Lamia Scale, high diff.

Mages like Sherry (LS), Toby (LS) and Yukino (ST) will be oneshotted and they won't add anything to this fight.

Jura will oneshot Orga as well, he already showed us he can.

I'd say Sting and Rogue are more or less equal with Lyon. With DF activated, they could defeat Lyon mid to high diff.

TO Chelia can defeat Sting and Rogue quite easy.

So in the end, it will be:

Jura, TO Chelia & Yuka vs. Rufus & Minerva

I don't know how a fight between Rufus and Yuka will go. Rufus could dispell Yuka's magic or Yuka could dispell Rufus' magic. But I'd give the win to Rufus, don't know why but I have more trust in him. Yuka was pathetically defeated by Natsu as well.

Minerva and Rufus can take Jura down with mid to high diff.

Minerva is in a disadvantage against Chelia, because TO Chelia will slay Yagdo Rigora which is Minerva's strongest spell. Minerva could escape, but it won't make her win. TO Chelia will defeat both Rufus (medium to high diff) and Minerva (high diff).

Lamia Scale wins thanks to TO Chelia. Sabertooth would win without TO Chelia.

I'd say Lamia wins it. Jura would be top followed by TO-Sherria. Along with Lyon and the others, I think it's in LS favour.

I think the fact that Lamia Scale has Third Origin Chelia just gave them the win.

Sabortooth wins pretty handily.

While third Origin Chelia is cool she hasn't shown enough to say that she could beat any of Sabortooth top tier members. Any Minerva could easily drain Chelia of her strength and Send her to another world. Sting would easily be able to deal with Lyon while he is in DF. Minerva could also turn all of Jura's rocks into explosions like she was doing with the GMG arena.

Their biggest problem is Jura. Third origin Chelia only has hype going for her and even then not that. Minerva could easily pretty much deal with most of them herself. She could easily redirect any attack she pleases.

@Nemispelled It will be better you make a situation 2 in addition to situation 1(where Chelia has TO)where Chelia doesn't have TO.In this way the fight will be more interesting.

Jura solos.

Without him it will be tough as Chelia with third origin can probably take on 2-3 of them at once and Lyon can take one. I would give that to saber though.

I guess, but in my opinion, Sabertooth would definitely win if Chelia doesn't have TO. With TO Chelia, my opinion is that it will be a draw.

Sabertooth isn't that weak.

First off, we have Minerva, who has almost-hax magic. Her spatial magic, nukes, teleports, and Yakuma Gods are all quite formidable. Add in Minerva's Demon form and her strength is multiplied.

Then we have Saber's twin dragon slayers. Despite their poor performance against Natsu in GMG, both DS are capable of their drives and not to mention their DF forms. They can also do a Unison Raid.

Then we have Rufus who is a great distraction/stall in a battle. He'd be annoying with his memory-make (hundreds of clones) and can copy/forget another person's magic.

Yukino isn't that strong, but she'd still be able to support.

And last is Orga....even though that guy isn't that strong, if anybody got hit by his lightning all full charge, then they'd be screwed.

Honestly, Lamia's Sherry and Toby are oneshottable. Yuka might serve as a support, but not really do anything major.

So it comes down to Jura, Lyon, and Chelia to take down most of Saber.

Now, in my opinion, Lyon is at most, as strong as 1 of the twin dragons. I don't think Jura can hold his own against the rest of Saber, especially if they have good teamwork.

In my opinion, TO Chelia is necessary for Lamia to even have a fair competition with Saber.

She defeated a (high tier) Spriggan when she used TO. Every Sabertooth member was pretty much owned by a Spriggan.

Rufus and Minerva could take down Jura with easy diff. Rufus just make him forget all his spell, so Minerva will use Yagdo Rigora and one shot him.

Remember Erza and Kagura stopped Yagoda Rigora easily. So for Jura it is not something difficult.

True, but I still rank Yagdo Rigora as a stronger spell than Rolling Thunder based on AoE.

Yeah I guess in terms of AoE Yagdo Rigora would have an edge, but in raw power Rolling Thunder would win by far for me.

You do realise it says, "His magic is named as such because it is said to be capable of even crushing gods." [In relation to him being the strongest in Sabertooth.]

This suggests that he is thought to be Sabertooth's strongest because they think his magic is capable of slaying a god, similar to how everyone back in the Grand Magic Games thought that the Dragon Slayers were capable of slaying dragons, which they weren't. Now I'm not downplaying Jura's feat of one-shotting Orga, but I just think that not only is Orga not Sabertooth's strongest, but that Minerva is Sabertooth's strongest.

At the GMG I do believe Orga probably had the strongest offensive spell/power judging from reactions in MPF. But as we saw, Jura almost tripled that feat.

Overall as fighters I think it goes Minerva > Sting/Rogue > Orga/Rufus > Yukino.

Lol no, it's literally stated in the manga/anime that Minerva is the strongest mage in Sabertooth. Orga is no match for the queen.

My ranking of the Sabertooth mages:

Minerva > Rufus > Sting = Rogue > Orga > Yukino
