Just saying now, but I'm going under the presumption that Sasuke can indeed use Tsukuyomi, for the people out there who are still doubting...
So I'm confused... Tsukuyomi is supposed to be this god-tier genjutsu, which initially had the power to distort the victim's sense of time. But we learned recently that Sasuke doesn't actually have that ability to twist time. So he's used Tsukuyomi a few times now apparently, with Bee, [presumably] Shi, and a few times with Danzou. But some of this stuff, particularly in the latest case with Danzou, I feel like it could have been accomplished with a normal Sharingan illusion.
So yeah, Tsukuyomi lets you control the world as an illusion, but we've seen the normal Sharingan genjutsu do some pretty ridiculous stuff (Sasuke and Itachi's illusionary fight, Itachi tricking Deidara into almost blowing himself up, etc...). But I feel like, in a few of these situations at least, a normal Sharingan illusion would have sufficed, particularly in hiding Danzou's last eye. Why is something as powerful as Tsukuyomi necessary for something as trivial as that (when Sasuke can do some pretty powerful stuff with his normal Sharingan, as seen in his fight with Deidara and Itachi), when a normal Sharingan genjutsu would have sufficed? Or is this just Sasuke being dramatic?
Or more specifically, since Sasuke can't manipulate time, what distinguishes a normal, non-Itachi Tsukuyomi from a normal illusion?
