Hi there. I joined a while back but I haven't been able to log in and make my introduction thread due to some unforeseen circumstances. So here are the basics.
-My name is Zia, yes that's my real name.
- I have a 3 year old daughter who loves to watch Sailor Moon and Pokemon with me. ;-)
- I'm 25 years old
- I'm from the U.S., specifically, Alabama.
- I'm working toward a BA in English, my ultimate goal being to teach English as a Second Language. (I previously attended an art school for photography. It didn't quite work out, but I think it's for the best.)
- I'm an avid reader, and writer.
-I've been a huge fan of anime and manga for a long time, and I've recently started learning Japanese.
So, that being said, I joined MangaHelpers because I would love to help proofread translated manga, and as I learn more, hopefully help with some of the editing and translating process later down the road. I think it will be a great experience opportunity for my chosen profession, and combines many of my passions. I'm looking forward to meeting some interesting people and getting to work.
