Discussion Seiyuu: Anime Voice Actors

[eni]

Hm, in most western countries only fans seem to know the names of voice actors for animated series and movies. Nobody really cares if it's not a celebrity who's name is written allover the movie poster.

I was told that this differs a little in Japan were Seiyuu are more or less celebrities themselves. And knowing us Anime Otaku here at MH - when a new Anime gets announced, we check out the voice actor list immediately and are happy when a favorite Seiyuu takes part in it

So what is your favorite Seiyuu and why do you love his/her voice so much?
