Definitely a spoiler, but maybe not as big of a spoiler, still a spoiler... I remember when I read it, I always thought of Ymir as a pseudo-god character... (and male lol.) So I was genuinely surprised when thingy calls her Ymir after the sidestory. (I'm sure that's also the reason Isayama purposely keeps her name secret until after the 18.5. Funnily enough, Ymir wasn't part of the Top 10 either despite her potentials and what Christa says, in which case is also a factor that facilitates the name secret.)
Having said that, it's not so much a spoiler anymore if your friend knows Ymir's name... To be precise, Ymir's name is more of a spoiler than anything else...

This tweet was actually from mid-August. The first sentence's referring to sorting out Ch49 stuff, but the second says something like:
"We've also sorted out the 'long plot' that paves way to the ending, it was a good day."
......
Ending????? SnK ending soon or, is Isayama just planning so much ahead??????? This is freaking me out.
And then on top of that, a lot of them just don't have siblings, perhaps because the one (or both) parent(s) went missing or something separated them too early in the character's life. Who knows.
There were lots of replies saying how sad or scared they are, to be honest I felt the same too. But now that you say he's pretty much planned out the story line, I can sorta credit him for 'good work ethics' as a storyteller or something of that sort, lol.
