Muri yo . I will read chapter 50 ASAP... Even if it's in Raw format (well, if it's the japanese raw thne it's OK, but I can't read chinbese, so if it's the chinese raw, well).. And then begins the painful wait for next month's issuse...

In the end I couldn't T^T. I already failed it before you even asked XD. (They keep mentioning Annie almost at least once every two chapters. I couldn't just stop...)

Years of reading Naruto spoilers before the translation was out taught me that waiting for the Edited Manga will always be a more pleasurable experience The surprise that awaits you at the turn of every page is really worth it, even more so when it's an overwhelming manga like SnK. So I can resist spoilers, but not skipping an entire chapter for a month (that's insane).

So I've just read all the chapters aviable for this manga, and I have to say it's pretty awesome so far.
However, I just have one question, maybe someone can help me out.
How is this a shounen exactly? With all the dying and flying body parts around I would've imagined this is a seinen all the way. Or is it because there is no sexual content. Because regarding the gore it reminds me of things like Elfen Lied and Gantz but those are seinen.

When I first read AoT i was also wondering why it isn't labeled as Seinen, not that I'm into much seinen. So then I read and watched some popular seinen like Berserk and Rainbow and I read Green Blood....and yeah...AoT is definitely not seinen, it's more of a mature shounen. I think because it's not violent enough, and the characters are not super macho men and if you look at the anime everyone has been pretty-fied. idk.

What Georgie said. There is going to be a range in shounen where some might seem to overlap into the seinen category, same as with shoujo and josei, or even shounen and shoujo, or seinen and josei, which also can overlap at the "edges."

The November issue of Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that the 11 volumes of Hajime Isayama's popular Attack on Titan manga has 25 million copies in circulation in Japan. The magazine is commemorating the milestone with an offer for two QUO cards to its readers. Oricon estimated 20.38 million copies were sold as of as of Sunday, September 8. All 11 volumes of Attack on Titan have regularly appeared in Oricon's weekly list of the 50 top-selling manga in Japan.

For the first time, Nielsen BookScan's list of the top 20 graphic novels in American bookstores had more books of Attack on Titan manga than any other series in the United States.

The anime adaptation ended last month on a cliffhanger. The anime series' staff stated that a second season is not green-lit yet.
